despite nani saying pvz is his worst, it should be okay. especially considering his closest teammate (SaSe) just killed stephano's "unbeatable zvp"

He would be wouldn't he since he has lived and trained there for such a long time and would SaSe count as well? I think I would. Startale has a reputation for having an amazing Protoss lineup and Naniwa and Sase live and train with those people. So it's not too much of a stretch to lump them into the same category with the success they've both been having.

It is not only about viability; it is exclusivity that makes a GSL spot so prized. Also, having only live qualifiers ensures that no-shows will rarely happen. I don't like Naniwa, but I'm happy for him that he performed so well today. I don't know why people need to talk shit about him when he is obviously good. Whether or not he is a nice person is irrelevant today.

Stephano beating MC, Squirtle, Parting, Alicia, JYP, Socke (3 times!), Mana, Bling, HwangSin just in the last month or so shows how strong Stephano's ZvP is currently. This also highlights why Sase deserves credit for taking that series over Stephano. Naniwa does not get the props for that win, similarly Sase does not get the props for Naniwa's wins today. I accept they may have helped each other prepare builds but even so.

I said SaSe beating stephano should just be taken into consideration when looking at nani's pvz, not as a transferable achievement. (Also stephano did not beat MC recently, he got stomped in their last engagement which was 2012 redbull Lan I believe :D)

Stephano narrowly lost to MC 3-2 at Red Bull. However a week before he beat MC 2-0 at MLG Spring Arena 2. I was referring to that as that occured about a month ago and is valid to use to highlight Stephano's current ZvP strength, and thus add credit to Sase's achievement.

I think if they meet again stephano will crush him. He got overconfident

What is the big deal? People like to complain! Some people seem to think road to Code S is via Code A. The reality is that GOM run GSL and they decide how the qualifiers work. They make the rules and can change them as they see fit. GOM determine who is in Code S and no-one else. Of course some folks like to pretend they are the sole arbiters of deciding who is 'worthy' but in reality it is GOM's call. GOM are running a business and so commercial forces will always influence their decisions. The new KESPA transition to SC2 will change the situation. There will be competing Korean tournaments to GSL and maybe seeds/invites will be used to allow 'transfer' of players between Korean competitions. Not exactly sure how things will work out, but the current situation may very well be shaken up.
