It is now page 592 and the off topic discussion and personal arguments end now. |
That mech build from Puma is really cool.

Very sad to see that people care more about casual games rather then games that inspire true skill and dedication That attitude is exactly why MOBA games have a shitty reputation for elitist attitude. Obviously people are enjoying watching LoL so there's nothing wrong with that at all. I don't like MOBAs but I certainly don't care if others like them and I'm not going to bicker over which is harder. Doesn't change the truth man, people switch from SC2 over to Lol specifically because its so much easier to experience success, and theirs a huge social aspect which allows for individuals to shift the blame onto team mates instead of themselves. Call it elitism if you want but I just find it baffling that people can watch such a hollow game as opposed to much better games such as Dota (Way better then Lol by a longshot) and SC. I see your SC2 elitism and raise you BW elitism. Seriously. Don't drag this thread into a SC2 vs LoL debate. Who cares about SC2 vs LoL. What we should be talking about is LoL audience vs SC2 audience. The audience just isn't getting into the games for whatever reason. They haven't been horrible. It's probably because most of the games have just been Korean vs Korean and people just want to have that foreigner vs korean story line. Or the SC2 hasn't been into it for a while now. This event it is LoL crowd destroying the SC2 crowd. Last event the Halo crowd made the SC2 one look bad. It's nothing new. SC2 crowd is actually bigger. It's just that they are not loud. Definitely doesn't look bigger to me, I just miss the crowd that we had at the finals last year when literally every seat in the venue was filled with Starcraft 2 spectators. Yeah, remember the crowd that cheered for MMA? Holy shit they were great! And the great moments where he made that famous Street Fighter move? I fucking loved that MLG.

Now I'm sad because Day9 is in vacation, meaning we wont have a daily about that build. D:

Quick question I have about the LoL scene: Are there many koreans in the rosters? I have a feeling that since the teams are a lot more familiar (NA and european) there are more fans as they can relate to them and get a sort of national pride from that. My 2 centsssssssssssssssssssssss.

No. The LoL tournament is NA vs. EU.

I'm impressed with Pumas build/play. Haven't watched a game of him in a while.

Well if you say that LoL is harder you're very deluded.

Grubby got a mothership. Golden had very little anti-air and detection. Grubby rolled across the map into his base, GG.

Clearly MMA not being at MLG is what's causing all of this to happen.

The puma mech build is the same build ForGG does pretty much every game against Z on his stream. I'm really surprised it hasn't been used more widely. ForGG has really shown it's really effective and can be very flexible for defend and transition out of.
