Hah. I think it's fairer to say that was a hail mary counter attack than a proper base trade. Light finished the game off with positioning in the end taking out stuff in the main and getting set up on the third. Then skyhigh was like ah fuck it well off I go to counter since I can't win any other way despite being back home with all my units =p
That was fun. It was messy, and the play certainly wasn't crisp, but it had its own charm and there was pretty much constant trading after skyhigh opened by proxying everything

Light refuses to expand....or get upgrades. Or make any transition at all.
I doubt Light would have been able to muster enough to go kill those SCVs and then the CCs if he'd tried expanding quicker.

Practicing two games at the same time. So it's kinda hard to be really good at one game. Unless you would go Motive and sacrifice all BW's skill and play SC2 only.

no
I dunno, out of the 5-6 SC2 Proleague matches I've seen so far- they've all been very exciting but undeniably rough around the edges.
the proleague games alternate between really good high level play (like I think some of the tank positioning wars was quite good that game, and skyhigh even making use of his hellion for vision with some cute dancing back and forth), and really terrible decision making. And one sided games where someone plays well but the other person played bad. Makes things a bit exciting sometimes but overall game quality probably not super high.

And even then, he loses to the dong. The top tier superstars will catch up. They're improving at a fast fast rate.

True. I think the top tier players will be able to transition faster. Also, the team with the SC2 coach from the current scene will be able to adjust faster.

Agree. A lot of the PL games so far have flashes of brilliance, mixed with really strange decisions and sub-optimal play, especially the later the game goes. It just takes thousands of games to really get rid of the rough edges and know exactly how to play in mid/late game situations.
Still, I have enjoyed quite a few of the games, as long as it's not bloody PvP
