What is twitchtv's natural resolution, or is it determined by your computer. twitch tv will stream the nautral resolution of the streamer (the highest possible - in this case 1080) and then break it down to lower resoultions, which takes more processing power from twitch. The point of lower quality is for people whos download speed isnt the best, or who dont have a lot of bandwidth | ||

How does it differentiate like that? I have a great connection and it usually always runs best on 740 and below. Not the best resolution. | ||

Not the best resolution. the breaking down is done by twitch not you, so if twitch is lagging, asking them to do even more isnt going to help, if you have slow internet then twitch brekaing down the stream for you wont affect your internet. | ||
