To all the complaints at MLG I'd say that I don't think flying in koreans and spending all your money on that is cool because I'd rather see these foreign tournies support the foreign scene but I understand why they make the decision to bring in the Koreans and thus the viewership. All of you whining about what you paid and that MLG is greedy that is just silly, I don't think these tournaments make that good of money and it's awesome that they're willing to take the risk to support esports.

MLG, pull your head out of your asses. PPV, or free with commercials. Take your pick. MLG just lost ANY chance of me purchasing further PPV passes. What a pathetic business strategy.
Capitalism. Where fucking your customer is considered perfectly OK.
Its not about capitalism but MLG policy, which sucks by the way. A greedy company considering the amount of money they get and still only pays 10k for the winner, which is pretty low if we`re talking about other big tournaments that dont even charge
Other big tournaments don't fly in 20 Koreans for free.
No, they do.
Do you mean Dreamhack, which had a total of 5 Koreans, of which 3 were in Code B? Or Iron Squid, which flew in 4 Koreans? Or IEM WC, which had 10, of which only a few were in Code S?
Only IPL4 (coincided with GSTL finals) competes with MLG for foreign concentration of high-level Korean talent.
Rofl, dont say things you dont know.. Iron Squid had online fights, then the semi-finals would happen to an OFFLINE event, that is not even 0,1% related to koreans paying their trips or not. Please, dont talk stupidity.
IEM pays for their trips aswell, or gives them an amount of money which is more enough to pay, even though if u finish the last place.
Wait first you tell the guy rofl, don't say things you don't know. Then you proclaim IEM gives enough of a travel stipend to pay for flights even for last place. I didn't know last place got 2k+ US so Koreans can come.

You have to be joking... your original statement that other big tournaments DO fly in 20 Koreans for free is demonstrably false.
It is not, IEM did the same (not the same amount as "20" as you say but you get the idea since it was more like 10), I dont even need to mention IPL and DH is more like a european tournament only, with few koreans and americans.
So what you're saying is IPL and DH don't fly in 20 Koreans? Glad that's settled.

IEM actually had 5 total Code S Koreans. For their final event of the year. These Arenas occur so often (arguably too often) that the two are hardly even comparable.
I concede this IPL, although as I said it was a happy combination of GSTL hosting and being a much bigger total event (comparable more to an MLG Championship than an Arena). Previous IPLs definitely weren't as concentrated for Koreans.
If DH doesn't have many Koreans, it doesn't have many Koreans. As to why is entirely irrelevant, your stance was originally that other tournaments outside of Korea also fly in 20 Koreans for free.

Yep, I knew it.

At least you're better with predictions than Wolf
Indeed, try your hand at something harder to predict. ^.^
Always good to start with something easy If I were to make a harder prediction, I guess... (I really suck at this, though) Grubby>GoOdy, DRG>Sleep, and this last one will kill me... MoOk>ThorZaIN (I hope not though, since as a fellow swede, I must cheer for him. Go get 'em Marcus!)
2 out of 3, not bad 3 out of 3, if I'd went with my heart

They don't.
His whole statement is wrong. DH/IEM don't pay for flights or give enough of a travel stipend for koreans to cover it. It's why DH/IEM always has the lowest amount of KR players compared to MLG/IPL.

This is just silly. You honestly think they`re doing to "support esports"? Ofc not, and they shouldn`t. They`re greedy and from a business perspective view it`s smart..
