All of you whining about what you paid and that MLG is greedy that is just silly, I don't think these tournaments make that good of money and it's awesome that they're willing to take the risk to support esports.
I can't be certain, but i think that foreigners bring more viewers than koreans (with the exception of some of course (Read: GSL))
It's simply that the foreigners are the players the general public want to see! Although many of them are not better, they are more in the spotlight, more popular, and more relatable.
So i don't think flying in Koreans add that much to the viewer count!

This is just silly. You honestly think they`re doing to "support esports"? Ofc not, and they shouldn`t. They`re greedy and from a business perspective view it`s smart.. Unless every business is greedy for trying to make money, then yeah "curse those bastards". "Oh but dont you know they make like 1 million dollars from AD REVENUE every tournament, they're definitely holding out." Dont.

I agree I"m very surprised there aren't a couple more foreign tournaments that don't overload on the korean invites...I feel like the foreign scene could really use it as well as some more smaller localized tournies.

Do you mean a final between 2 foreigners or a foreigner in the final in the Lbracket? Because seeing as at least two of Violet, Leenock, MC, Polt and Symbol have to go down into the Lbracket the first would require some upsets.
