Yes, MLG paid tl money to be put on calendar due to it being ppv. Now here's the question. Is it worth it for MLG to pay for the calendar spot because how many converts are you going to get when someone clicks on that link, sees it's ppv and then decides to buy it? Of course we'll never know, but I'd be interested to know the numbers cause I think the people who bought arena already know about it and don't need to see it on the calendar to buy it.

Take your pick. MLG just lost ANY chance of me purchasing further PPV passes. What a pathetic business strategy. Capitalism. Where fucking your customer is considered perfectly OK. Its not about capitalism but MLG policy, which sucks by the way. A greedy company considering the amount of money they get and still only pays 10k for the winner, which is pretty low if we`re talking about other big tournaments that dont even charge

MLG is paying for trips of all their players. Players and teams prefer paid trips over bigger price pools.

I could see him making a decently deep run here too actually if he ends up against Ryung and then MC. Though MC 5-3'd Stephano in a fight club... But Stephano won the first two out of three games there. My god I love MLG. There's a battle between TSL's ace, there's IPL Fight Club rematch, Dreamhack Valencia Finals Rematch possible after Dreamhack Stockholme quarterfinals rematch, several up and coming foriegners (Tefel, socke playing better than ever before, Grubby of course). It's just so great.

Let me know when IEM/DH start paying for 32 flights/hotels and see what happens to their prizepool if they do that. 10K isn't even that low for a non main MLG event. Wasn't DH only 14k for first?

im not sure what tournaments youre thinking of, IPL had a couple of invites, but most people paid their own way, dreamhack is player paid, GSL doesnt pay anyone, WCS is paying for flights for everyone, idk i cant think of any other tournament that will fly out 32 players

This type of argument has flaws, and even considering that, why would MLG pay for their trips? Im pretty sure high profile players have good teams that can pay for their fly, hotel and stuff like that. You`re giving too much credit for MLG lol

There's no commercials except for the sponsors in the stream, mate. Either you're bitching without actually watching. (Troll) Or have screwed the /incredibly/ simple process up somehow. (Idiot)
