All-in? He expanded before he even started the all-in and when did Squirtle pick off any? Squirtle poked up the ramp and killed some marines, then walked up and killed a marine by the bunkers and then left. Literally, no loses/no cuts, that is simply the power of chrono boost, IF you use it our your probes.

Almost all those games with low points were macro games, except last one. My guess he's having hard time in mid-lategame TvP and enjoys cheese ![]()

Wouldn't the argument follow that proxy 2-rax on ladder is not the same as proxy 2-rax on Game 7 of the GSL Code S Finals? They are different for the same reason the NBA reference: pressure and the ability to perform under it. Or you can try another analogy such as the coach drawing up the final play with <4 seconds left on the clock and the star player has to make the last shot to win it for the team. But the analogies can continue on forever. Meh. Take it for what you will. If these games were scrambled and Game 7 was one of the first three games, would people be as upset as they are now?

Actually, it's even more ironic considering that majority of people predicted MVP to lose or drop out every single round of this GSL. It's easy to show confidence in someone after he wins. Bonjwas were basically declared certain winners before the games/tournaments even happen during their dominant period - that's how scary they were, and how confident the public/fans was in their superiority. I bet if mvp played a Protoss in the next 10 days, people would still predict him to lose (and he probably might lose).

Terran going to late game with toss wouldn't necessarily mean the toss has an advantage. It's relative to how much damage was done. Blizzard is not telling you to win early game and that otherwise you lose... They kind of said, kill toss in the midgame but then you can drag it out to the lategame if you like(rather than just take the w) and fight heads on.
