FF should just have health, a lot of health so it would never be a good idea to fire at them outside of that strategy.
That way you would force the protoss to burn the ff faster if the zerg wasn't greedy, which is good.

I think you overestimate Queen speed and positioning in typical circumstances. You could make it cost energy too I suppose if you're worried people would just make a bunch more queens.

I believe someone proposed this exact idea. An energy based special trait that allows them to stomp forcefields.

That sort of build doesn't take much skill to execute; if you're lucky enough to get that ff down it's basically over.


Yeah, that's why we see foreign Tosses having so much success against top Korean Zergs like Leenock... I don't really understand the argument that "blah blah doesn't take much skill to execute" because many effective, powerful things in SC2 don't take that much skill to execute in terms of micro. Dropping stimmed marines and killing a shitton of workers? Baneling bust? Mass roach bust? Forcefields? The point is not that stuff like that is hard to execute, it's more about a player keeping up his multitasking, doing other important things while doing stuff like that, while controlling well. Only yesterday I saw Lure vs. Shine, with Lure trying a warp prism + sentry drop into the main like HerO did, and it got completely shut down thanks to Lure's miscontrol. So, either Lure is a terrible noob for screwing up something that "doesn't take much skill to execute", or it's a bit harder to execute than you give it credit for.
