I assume as standard with Chinese events there will be no English casting or any desire to add an English stream?
|
Nope! Probably one of those Chinese streams like PPTV.
|
Really odd invites, but I guess that promotes 3 players of each race.. will follow since I'm a massive Mvp fan.

No stream information thus far but yeah, I guess so. However if anyone is interested in providing English stream, maybe you can contact PLU. The last event that PLU held (Miss and Colagirl showmatch) had an English stream, although it ended up with the lagging out of the English streamer who is from England... If the streamer is in China or Korea, I think it's more feasible.

I am always interested in getting ESV TV in on Chinese events.

Maybe I can help you contact PLU, not sure though, since I'm just an ordinary PLUer in the forum.

Moon and Lyn are both very familiar with China, as they were powerhouses in WC3 and China is the center of WC3. Hui is getting a lot of attention lately, and MVP, well, enough said.

Bumping this up since it seems like this is going on now.
Seems like easy money for Mvp but I wouldn't be surprised if a Chinese player could pull off an upset.
|
wow i dunno if i'm just ignorant but this presentation is pretty cool.

They are broadcasting in English...and Nvidia's CEO just announce Geforce Experience. I call it the Configuration Wizard Cloud.
still waiting for GK110....
|
Jen-Hsun Huang is no Steve Jobs, but he's doing a respectable job as an MC. Should expand his praise vocabulary beyond "unbelievable" and "absolutely amazing" though.
|
Geforce GTX 690...damn. Time to resell my 680 for this shiny piece of dual-GPU goodness..
|
This audience is amazingly uninspired. "Heard of Crysis?" - a couple of lonely voices respond ... etc. Kinda hilarious. ^^ I guess it's because 90% actually did not understand what was being said in English, which is unfortunate.

Mvp? Oh wow, thought he wouldn't attend any more foreign tournaments. Guess China is ok for him.

Flight from Seoul to Shanghai is like an hour an a half.

wow I just looked at the player list....I guess I could say this umm looks good for MVP. MVP FIGHTING!!! Anyone know if he had the therapy for his wrists yet? I wonder if he will show much of his TvP
|
Anyone knows when exactly SC2 matches should start?
|
They have balls putting a Chinese player vs. a Korean player every round in the Ro8. Every Chinese player is going to be eliminated in the Ro4 barring upsets.
|
MVP is not going to use these builds vs. Naniwa but I hope Naniwa is watching.
|
Well Chinese players have a chance against everyone except MVP...or maybe they're counting on MVP's wrist problems.
|
its a bit cut off but I think thats IM MVP versus LoveCD

The Chinese are very nationalistic, and barring MVP, the Korean invites are by no means Korea's strongest SC2 players, so it might be close in some series.

Pretty sure Moon and Lyn can be taken out by any of the Chinese players.

Mvp abusing map control like a boss. Soon will be 6 base vs 4 base.

MVP is smashing LoveCD. MVP has been training his TvP to another level.

MVP is the only person on earth that can win while behind on upgrades. IMBA~

Wonder how Naniwa is going to play against MVP.

damn the stream is lagging like heck

I can't understand Chinese very well, but the casters sound totally biased to me lol, congratulating every small victory for LoveCD.

Ya man he only started his 2/2 upgrades when LoveCD already had 2/3 upgrades. Well, MVP was on 6 bases though.
|
Smart by MVP to fortify his natural entrance with a planetary early on because he knew despite how much he contained protoss early, there would be a point where he would be pushed all the way back in a timing attack.
Also, as I write this, it's funny how the male MC though MVP knew English for some reason even though he should know MVP is Korean.

Sounds like diamond has give up on the CN scene

did MVP allin a fan from the audience? lol

The audience "won" by surviving for 10 minutes :D

ok, so it was a showmatch. Was wondering why MVP was playing a terran when the only possible match up next for him was Zerg.

He's correct to do so. AFAIK, the SC 2 scene in China has no funding.

I'm not 100% sure as they speak way too fast for my Chinese skills, but I think they're talking about dota2 :/ no word on SC2 so far
|
I'm from Taiwan, or born anyway. There talking about random stuff, and the World Elite team I believe. (WE) They are also talking about some of the Chinese players that were invited to the event.
Edit: Ya they were talking about iG and WE (the two Chinese teams) while they were waiting for the players to be ready to play and it just started.

Looks like that was the final game. Sorry I missed the first one. 2-1 MacSed, it looks like?

It actually pains me to watch Moon constantly being aggressive and just all-in and not tech up in most of his game. It just feels like his gamesense and decision making is still severely lacking and that will really stop him from being as good as he was hyped up to be.
EDIT: So I guess Moon lost? Another silver for him in international tournaments after Dreamhack, IEM and PPSL. He is the new Kkong.

This clearly is the work of Nestea. Only Nestea would have enough power to take down the mighty mvp.
Think about it. Nestea maybe is angry because they didn't invite him, so because Nestea is the creator of the universe, Nestea slipped some poison into mvp's food in china, from Korea. This way mvp would get sick and lose his matches.
Think about it, it all makes sense

No, it's not something like conspiracy but i just read head coach's twitter and Mvp's girl friend
