So we got 3 Terrans 3 Zergs and 6 Protoss who are in the ro12.
I just hope we dont get a PvP final, that would be a real turnoff.
Then again if MMA keeps playing like this that kinda shouldnt happen

foreigners dissapointing once again! :/

I don't think it's disappointing. They consistently took maps off of the Koreans and in one group a non-Korean finished first. Depends on what you expect I suppose.

I agree, but more on the basis that the tournament is not done yet. Feast, Darkforce, Hasu and Elfi are still in this, and they could still make deep runs.

I hope the bracket works out so that MMA doesn't meet MC until the finals.

MC is the only one who can give MMA a run for his money.

Plays zerg, doesn't follow Korean scene at all, generally massively biased towards European players he's friends with (DIMAGA, Kas etc.), and biased towards foreigners in general.

I generally don't mind the bias, but he doesn't follow the Korean scene at all? This dude is getting paid and flown around the world to talk about starcraft, and he can't take a little extra time out of his day to watch a few GSL games? That's pathetic.

Yeah.. Shame on him for actually "sleeping" and having a little "freetime".

He obviously should use at least 22h of his day to watch SC2...

OH please. take what he said and completely warp it.

mrbitter is a "professional caster" any guy on TL who isn't a pro player or caster can follow the Korean scene casually and at least know some players and who are the up and comers etc.

that caster is wilfully ignorant of the korean scene and yet hes supposed to be a professional caster.

thats' just retarded.

So someone can't be professional if they don't follow the korean scene?

nice strawman.

try again. what you just said is retarded. If you're a professional caster, you should at least have some knowledge of the KOrean scene, especially when you're casting games with koreans involved. its' called professionalism.

I heard Korea isn't revelant in sc2 huh?

I agree that he should have some knowledge of the scene, but that is not all professionalism is. Professionalism is how a person conducts themselves on the job and a person can be professional even if they have none or very little knowledge of what is going on. (It might not be a good cast but at least they can show they they know how act accordingly)

EDIT: Sad that Dimaga lost, but also happy that Zenio advanced...all but group b has 1 of each race advancing

Making it extremely obvious who you're rooting for and worse, being super negative and disappointed when he loses (especially to a Korean) isn't professional any way you look at it. I like Bitter's casting usually, but his bias is getting somewhat ridiculous.

Mr.Bitter has always been biased in his commentary. I don't think it's a huge deal.

It is being played, but it doesn't matter at all. SeleCT is out and Puma could lose 0-2 and still have the better map score and take 1st place.

Well it definetely is going to be played, since if SelecT wins 2-0 over Puma, Killer takes 1st place (even though Select can't advance) So that game is important for Killer and Puma

Edit: atleast Puma hasn't been marked as group winner yet..

Well the earliest they could meet would be the semifinals since they both went first place in their groups

They used to have a draft for the knockout stage rather fast after the group stage ended at every IEM. I expect it to happen within less thena 1 hour, but don't count it being streamed.

It's not, but when he's consistently biased against your favourite players (several Koreans and Liquid for me), it gets somewhat annoying.

edit: ah fuck, did i seriously use my 8000th post for this lol T_T

According to liquipedia, the worst Puma can get is +4 in mapscore which would be equal to Killer's score, but since Puma beat Killer in their bo3, Puma has already secured 1st place.

It's been like that way for a while. I just sorta overlook it, I mean I love Mr.Bitter as a caster but that bias and lack of Korean Scene knowledge is a slight turn off.
