So true! nailbiting moments. All matches were soo close. Polt was playing so cost effective on 2 base even Stephano did't understand. So much more value than MLG.

Good tourney, Polt vs Stephano was a really good series!

I'd definitely say we should have that host again. Remember the Dreamhack host? Now THAT was awkward. Aside from a couple of first-timer slip-ups, he did great. There's a ton of potential there.

Great Finals...great Event. Sad to see foreinger terran got crushed that hard. Seems like we have to learn a lot from guys like Polt. Glad that Stephano lost...his greed for easy money/his trolling/and BM towards the crowd and his opponents(Manner CC?...always sad to see this in a tournament. I especially enjoyed the videos White-Ra made. He posted on Facebook.

I do think this host (I can never remember his name) did a good job... However, I think he made a mistake that many hosts are making. When talking to non-native speakers you should keep your sentences short, simple and to the point. Using "common" expressions and complicated words (as well as talking for too long) often leads to the interviewee spending more time trying to understand the question rather than come up with an answer (while possibly already being somewhat nervous and preoccupied with how to act on stage). IMO we'll get better interaction and flow with shorter simpler questions.

I also have to say my thanks - great tournament. Production was almost flawless (apart from some mic issues, shit happens, and stream issues on the last days - but that was mainly twitch related) Casting was great, players were great, host was good for his first time, Finals were outstanding. Keep it up guys you did an awesome job

I liked the host, but the problem was that he doesn't know well the game and his questions were kinda vague and redundant. He should play more before his next event

After the first game I really thought Stephano was going to 4-0 Polt. Then second game happened. At so many points in these series I thought that one totally had won, then balance would switch hardcore, then again.

He was good, alot of the wierd moments came from the weak crowd really, if there would have been a stronger and more energy filled crowd i do belive he would have been alot less looked down opon by some people. My only concern is he came off as to big of a fanboy of the players at times(Which can lead to some very awkward moments) but other than that he did good job.

apart from being drunk all the time I liked the host.

One of the best finals i've seen in a while, really kept me on the edge of my seat.
People are harsh on almost every host in SC2 because there hasn't been one on par with 2GD yet, basically if the new host isn't as good as 2GD then they think he's a bad host. He was a little awkward and didn't really ask the right questions, but hopefully if he plans on being a host for SC2 again he can work on that.

The host wasn't bad, but there were some really awkward moments where you could see he either didn't know what to ask, or lacked the confidence to do so.
I didn't understand the one question interviews. He was really good at filler in between games, but he should not talk so much when interviewing....he rambled/complimented the players way too much instead of letting them talk.

Will replays be out for this event?

I'll be the bad guy. The next event needs a new host. I seriously felt like the host was trolling everyone. The event didn't seem professional with the way he hosted, he showed too much sarcasm IMO with the people he was interviewing, and made too many awkward moments throughout the introductions and everything.

Yes youre exactly right, he needs to learn to be more precise, he was obviously nervous and sometimes didnt seem to know himself where his question was going. But I'd say this is pretty easy to fix so I agree with anyone saying that he has lots of potential.

he was really enthusiastic, maybe I missed the parts you saw but I dont see how you can interpret what he did as "trolling"
