Really well played from both, close games throughout the series and I don't think the 4-1 score is indicative of just how close each of the games really were. Hopefully TSL can pick up another terran or two so Polt can pass on some of his talents ![]()

MMA is gonna be scared if Polt returns to Code S now. He will destroy you once more.

Sure, he's a bit awkward...but every host is :p A bit awkward is putting it lightly. He's obviously very very nervous. I don't know if you saw him earlier, but he was totally falling apart in previous interviews and announcements. This final one with Polt actually was his best showing... Being bilingual and having a positive demeanor doesn't make him a good host.

Too many tanks, the game was over for 15 mins, Stephano just didn't leave because he hoped that Polt fucks up stephano fucked up. two times he ran his ultra + infestor + ling into polts natural, getting trapped and lost LOADS of army units. then polt goes "lol wtf are u doing noob? okay ill just come and snipe your mining bases.... hmm this is easy". if stephano was smarter he would have played patiently and not just a-moved directly into polt's trap. anyway insanely good play from both players.... but polt is just 10 times better than anyone on the planet at sc2, stephano didn't have a chance.

Not DRG/MMA or Jjakji/Leenock level, but very good with intense games all of them. MMA is gonna be scared if Polt returns to Code S now. He will destroy you once more. Good luck with that. It's a long climb back up.

How can a gaming community, which is known for their introverts--shown greatly even by pro gamers, decide that the interviewer is awkward, when he has way better social skills than most on here. People just love to hate on something. anti-social nerds calling him awkward just makes me smile ![]()

![]() + Show Spoiler + The GSL super tournament final was at the same time as Dreamhack Summer finals, which HuK won against Moon, this got so hyped up that Polt got no credit for winning the super tournament and going 4-0 against MMA in the finals.

I actually blame foreign Terrans for Stephano's loss : he is not enough used to his opponents surviving midgame or getting out of it in a decent shape. This is why he made questionnable decisions in late game, whereas his early game is immaculate. If he spends some more time in Korea and gets a decent late game practice, his decision making will be top notch all game long, and he will be able to beat top Koreans consistantly. Now, he is just a tiny step below them, and mops the floor with lesser opponents. Which is still freaking impressive given his practice. Congratultaions Polt and Stephano, that was one the best SC2 series I have ever seen. Great post, I very much agree. Every game could have been won by either player at many different times, its the way SC" should be. Would love to see Stephano in the GSL actually, I reckon he could compete pretty well. Just needs to work on late game zvt decision making a bit.
