I think Gumiho is definitely GSL champion material. The multidrop multitasking was amazing to see. With more experience in tournament finals he will get the much needed game sense to win these important matches.
It wasn't nerve. He was on tilt IMO.To leave your natural unguarded is one of the most basic mistake you should not make.It even happen a couple of time and it cost him the game.
DRG have done a lot of all-ins and DRG can win macro games.Did you even watch Game 3? Terran these days like take a quick 3rd CC.DRG just read that nicely and counter it with roach bane all-in.DRG could have won Game 2 had he not miscontrol his baneling.

Terran wins = Terran imba Terran loses = NO WORD about balance by anyone, everyone is just quiet, no complaints. It's like you are not allowed to win games as terran or your race is automatically OP, even if you massively outplay your opponent. The starcraft community in general is kind of crazy with this.

Yes I was? There were still enough people who complained about Terran. It's making me so sick, it's like people are harrassing terrans so much on forums that most of us don't even bother to post anymore. Then blizzard reads the forums and sees what biased zergs and protosses have to qq about and patch the game accordingly. Makes me absolutely sick and there is nothing you can do about it, because terran bashing is just accepted by mods and the community in general. But god forbid a terran ever complains about anything, pitchforks and torches!

It's done on the spot by people that aren't professional translators. If you know enough Korean to criticize it, then please post a better translation of it here, that'd actually be useful and appreciated ^^
John would be useful and appreciated.
But I guess they were optimizing labor cost expenses at GOM inc.

Seems like first 2 games were very very well thought out plans for Gumiho. He knew exactly how to fend off zerg, and push from 3 bases, while constantly dropping. However, when DRG began to change Gumiho's plans, things went differently. DRG got it, that if he played safe, he wouldnt achieve anything, cause Gumiho was prepared everytime. DRG needed to throw off Gumiho's game plans, and he did it.

Ho but, they were imba posts after the first 2 games =)
Anyway, I would have prefered a TvZ finals. Genius isn't your basic 2 bases 12 gates blinks allin protoss so it could be a good PvZ, but l have my doubts.
I actually thought DRG wasn't playing as well as he could in some of the first few games. GuMiHo would drop and then DRG would just have zerglings sent in single-file, unable to do anything. With some better management in those cases the drops would be less overwhelming.

Thats what I got out of this series. He reminds me of MC. Wins games, but not my favorite player to watch
Seems like the smart response to Gumiho's fast 3rd CC. His build has enough hellions that Zerg can't take fast 4th in response, and Zerg at best playing catchup if you let Terrran get his third up that much faster than you. This was never a case of "DRG needing' to all-in" everytime as much as "you beat a macro opening by smashing his face in"
I LOVE any player that loses 2 games and can say "ok, this is what is going wrong, this is what i can do about it"
Erm, what?
Games 4 and 5 were games where GuMiho was going for a Hellion / Marauder timing / all in and had it scouted both times so had to transition out of it.
DRG saw he was trying to build a third CC and switch tech back to marine / tank in game 5 so just went and crushed him, if DRG hadn't punished a player for taking massive risks it would have been awful, awful play. And DRG is not an awful player.

I agreed with you.A TvZ finals is definitely more exciting but Genius vs DRG cant be bad right?

CHAIRS omg, I meant to say CHAIRS.
Too fucking late lol. Stairs.... yeah we totally needed more of that at MLG.
Fuck my life.
Your failure has been noted in the Matrix. More stairs shall be added to your perception of reality. Thank you for your comments and criticisms regarding this matter.

Welcome to...i dunno...the sc community? TL LR threads?
Wonder if you can call it racism lol. Either way personally i'm incredibly bored with it.
I don't mind who wins as long as it's a good game (baring favourites ofc).
Being excited cause your fav player/race is doing well is fine, what we get in these threads is ridiculous, and whats more ridiculous is they don't even realise they are doing it.
And the answer before about not coming to LR threads?! What kind of response is that? So it's okay that zergs can moan and abuse Terrans/terran race to the point where those of us who enjoy T just shouldnt' go to these threads?
What's next? Well have our own section in buses? Maybe i shouldnt go online and play since i dont want zergs moaning about my race? Stupid.

Maybe because people are sick of seeing Terrans whine after being by and far the most successful race in Korea last year, no contest(at the height of Protoss whining last year, for example, we had 5 Toss left in Code S with only 1 Toss in the Ro16 and 0 Toss by the Ro8. Meanwhile, we have Terrans whining while there were 2 Ts in the semifinals... seriously people, perspective.) It's time for a change, and no Terran in the finals is very refreshing. Though, I can tell you're clearly upset and are thus exaggerating things.
