Terran wins = Terran imba Terran loses = NO WORD about balance by anyone, everyone is just quiet, no complaints. It's like you are not allowed to win games as terran or your race is automatically OP, even if you massively outplay your opponent. The starcraft community in general is kind of crazy with this. I assume you weren't in the LR yesterday? Yes I was? There were still enough people who complained about Terran. It's making me so sick, it's like people are harrassing terrans so much on forums that most of us don't even bother to post anymore. Then blizzard reads the forums and sees what biased zergs and protosses have to qq about and patch the game accordingly. Makes me absolutely sick and there is nothing you can do about it, because terran bashing is just accepted by mods and the community in general. But god forbid a terran ever complains about anything, pitchforks and torches! Welcome to...i dunno...the sc community? TL LR threads? Wonder if you can call it racism lol. Either way personally i'm incredibly bored with it. I don't mind who wins as long as it's a good game (baring favourites ofc). Being excited cause your fav player/race is doing well is fine, what we get in these threads is ridiculous, and whats more ridiculous is they don't even realise they are doing it. And the answer before about not coming to LR threads?! What kind of response is that? So it's okay that zergs can moan and abuse Terrans/terran race to the point where those of us who enjoy T just shouldnt' go to these threads? What's next? Well have our own section in buses? Maybe i shouldnt go online and play since i dont want zergs moaning about my race? Stupid.
Welcome to the sc community, right. But who is to say that it has to be like this? I mean there were several occasions where terran players got banned in LR threads for saying things like "sentry's good unit" - "infestors good unit", but "marines good unit" - "marauders good unit", etc... everything that is anti-terran is totally fine, no problem. I love terran but sometimes I want to switch races just because you can't read any forum posts without having some generic terran bashing in there.
People need to keep that balance crap out of LR threads. Yeah fine you ban balance whiners, well I should say terran balance whiners. For P and Z it's totally fine.

But god forbid a terran ever complains about anything, pitchforks and torches! Maybe because people are sick of seeing Terrans whine after being by and far the most successful race in Korea last year, no contest(at the height of Protoss whining last year, for example, we had 5 Toss left in Code S with only 1 Toss in the Ro16 and 0 Toss by the Ro8. Meanwhile, we have Terrans whining while there were 2 Ts in the semifinals... seriously people, perspective.) It's time for a change, and no Terran in the finals is very refreshing. Though, I can tell you're clearly upset and are thus exaggerating things.
terran whining? lmao if theres one race that is not played by notorious whiners it's terran.

I think Gumiho is definitely GSL champion material. The multidrop multitasking was amazing to see. With more experience in tournament finals he will get the much needed game sense to win these important matches.
I disagree. I think gumiho had prepared a fast double expand build exactly the same as naniwa was going FFE vs Leenock at MLG. DRG switch tactics to beat the build, and Gumiho didn't have a response. Once DRG switched to an aggressive opening the ball is in Gumiho's court to switch it up again.Failure to do so means he can prepare for a matchup fantastically, but has less flexibility which really shows as the number of matches in a series grows. He would never have won a bo7 let alone a bo9.

DRG vs Gumiho was siiiiick. Both players are so damn good.
It seems like only yesterday when DRG was just an unknown name sitting on top of the KR ladder and Gumiho was just an especially special Random player who made it into the Ro64 of the GSL. Now DRG is arguably the best Zerg in the world, and Gumiho showing that despite being pretty damn good with Random, he is especially damn good with Terran.

Its true the SC community is very racist towards terran players, a lot of double standards and so on but that will never change until terran is the worst race in Code S for a considerable amount of time since nothing else affects the communities opinion nearly as much.

I'm hurt to see aLive out. Even though I didn't expect him to win at all.

That's funny cause i get told all the time I only win cause of my race (protoss)
But I think the anti-terran sentiment will start to drop off now that terran aren't winning everything all the time.

Hmm, except I have a feeling that if it had been switched and Z had been on top at the start and we had all Zs winning GSL throughout the last year you wouldn't have heard a word of complaint.
More likely you would have heard - T players are just bad, learn to play, use your units properly. You have Ravens, they are expensive slow and die too fast to be good? No your just bad. Zergs are awesome, just look at how well they play. Ugh.

Haha, you can't be serious. There's been tons of "Protoss OP" whining in these LR threads. Terrans have been whining a ton lately, the only difference is that they're actually still doing fine in the GSL (again, 2 Ts in the semifinals), especially compared to how badly Z or P was doing at the height of their respective whining. If you think Terrans haven't been whining lately (both about the new patch and about Protoss) then you're so far in denial that there's no point in even continuing this conversation because I can't argue with someone who just blatantly ignores obvious facts. In the past, sure, there's been less Terran whining than Protoss or Zerg whining, but that's conveniently because Terran dominated the GSL last year. Now that Terran's been taken down a notch we see that Terran players are merely human and whine just as much as Toss or Zerg players. Only difference is that I see a ton of Terran whining when their race went from dominant to just average, while I saw the Zerg and Toss whining when their races were legitimately doing terribly in the GSL.
To be clear, I'm not factoring personal ladder experiences into this at all. I'm solely talking about the GSL.

I think Genius has a good shot at winning the finals! He beat DRG 2-0 in Ro32!
Calling 4-1 or 4-2 to Genius in the finals!

OMG I left for dinner when it was 2-0 Gumiho and comeback to a 3-2 DRG?

With more experience in tournament finals he will get the much needed game sense to win these important matches. It wasn't nerve. He was on tilt IMO.To leave your natural unguarded is one of the most basic mistake you should not make.It even happen a couple of time and it cost him the game. DRG have done a lot of all-ins and DRG can win macro games.Did you even watch Game 3? Terran these days like take a quick 3rd CC.DRG just read that nicely and counter it with roach bane all-in.DRG could have won Game 2 had he not miscontrol his baneling. Well game 3 DRG was on the brink of going out so if the roach pressure was held off more easily, Gumiho would of taken it. It wasn't a real macro game in the sense that DRG took a huge advantage from the moment the roaches attacked from the rest of the game, it was Gumiho playing catchup for the rest of the game. Game 4 and 5 were nerves IMO. He needed to put pressure on to protect his 3rd orbital, but the game plan for early marauders was scouted and yeah there was no zergling defense which was really bad, consider how great he defended 3 bases in game 1, he couldn't defend his single expo with the tiny ramp, real bad mistake there, several times.
BTW Gumiho held the roach/baneling all in with 2 siege tanks, so if he was a bit more prepared, maybe use a scan or something to scout DRG's base he could of prepared much earlier, held without crippling losses, and gone on to take the game using his incredible multidrop multitasking.

Well terran is the least succesful race in the foreign scene and outside of code s actually. I agree that Code S is the most important league balance wise because it's the best of the best, but some people make it sound like terran is dominating everywhere at all levels of play, when in fact they are the least succesful everywhere outside of code S. And that is backed up by blizzard's statement in their blog post. It's annoying because last month zerg had the highest overall win rate of all 3 races and people were still mainly complaining about terran. That doesn't even make any sense at all.

Not sure if that applies to me, but to be clear, I fully acknowledge that Terran isn't dominating everywhere at all levels of play, and I even addressed that in my post, saying that I'm solely talking about the GSL. And that's all that really matters to me as a spectator - the highest level of play.

Wow. Just wow.
If you think moaning about a (commonly held belief) over nerf to ghosts - i assume this is the recent whining you are talking about - which is a fairly major blow to an already weak T late game vs Z (vs Inf/BL/C) compared to months and months of zergs bitching about everything a terran does is the same then i just don't know what to say.
There are more issues involved with why T has been dominating GSLs over the last year than T being OP.

So apparently people don't like these that much, which is fine, then I won't keep doing them. Not worth it spending a lot of time coming up with them and coming up with ones for each outcome when the majority doesn't notice/like them.

You're missing my point. I actually think the ghost nerf was done wrong and I feel that the whining was completely justified. However, my mentioning of the whining from the patch was not because I felt the whining was unjustified; it was merely to illustrate that Terran players do whine (justified or not), something that ChaosTerran seems to be denying.
