The awkward moment when you realize that bling does not have a brilliant response to demu´s 111 but rather a major brainfart^^

Bling was being a proper wally if he thought he could pinch an expansion with that many units.

True, but regardless of storms, having a ton of Marines is much better than having a ton of Marauders. A Raven with Seeker Missile to wipe out large groups of Zealots would have been real sexy XD

Feedback

We can go back and forth all day on "this counters this so he should have done this" but the fact remains, yes, Bling has access to Feedback but most of his templars were in a warp prism. A few ravens coming out of nowhere with Seeker Missiles aren't going to instantly get blasted down in most instances. DeMusliM is just making horrible choices and Bling is outcontrolling him badly. Need to have Vikings on the Prism, or if he would have had the mass amount of Marines they would have shot it down within half a second. Or even have missile turrets near the planetary... so many options.

Teching to ravens costs a lot and seekers missiles do friendly fire, put them together with chargealots and you are helping your enemy.

I don't care about excuses like "oh teching to them costs a lot" blah blah. Try and be creative, doing the same damn stuff over and over isn't going to help you win for very long. The players that decide to take it upon themselves to be creative, try new things, and just overall work hard to improve aspects of their play are the ones that dominate. As we can see in these games.

put them together with chargealots and you are helping your enemy. Nice selective reading, sir.

It's not called selective reading, it's called ignoring a stupid comment. You can wait until the Zealots charge is on cooldown then micro your Marines away from them. You can build two Marines at once, Zealots cost more than Marines. Seriously, stop being so single minded. Just because Chargelots MIGHT cause the Seeker Missiles to deal splash to the Marines, doesn't mean you shouldn't do it or try it out. Sheeth.

Instead of calling people stupid and suggesting your low level ideas, try to think if they will actually work, the seeker missiles will do mininum damage to the zealots while the majority of your marines die, that is if you manage to emp all of the hts , there's a reason they aren't used, and it's not because competitive sc2 lacks a genius like you.

Okay, really. I did not call YOU stupid. I am not suggesting low level ideas. What you need to realize is I'm trying to engage in a strategic discussion, which I have realized in the past is impossible to do on TeamLiquid now. The point of a discussion is both people throw out ideas and counters and both realize that each person may have a point. High Templar can Feedback the Ravens, but alternatively I can argue that the Vikings/Marines could have shot down the Warp Prism. Ghosts could have sniped the High Templars. Then you can come back with "well they cost too much", and then I come back with "it would be nice to see someone TRY these things." Neither one of us is wrong, I am not posting anything in anger. I'm just suggesting things, trying to add to a discussion. You are the one coming back and just saying I am wrong. That is not how a strategy discussion works. I understand your points, and I am not saying they are bad nor wrong. I am just trying to say that yes, the Seeker Missiles could potentially cause friendly fire onto the Terran units due to the Chargelots, BUT a certain level of micro could be invoked to make sure the friendly fire damage is mitigated. I'm sorry if you just want to shoot down everything I say because you just want to be a jerk or something but that's not how I'm approaching it and things would be much better around here if everyone took that perspective. Your points are valid, but so are mine. Just because I try and suggest things and have a competent conversation does not mean I consider myself "a sc2 genius".

No reason to trash TL because you try and start up a strat discussion in an LR thread instead of SC2 Strategy. So go make a thread there, but I won't lie to you and tell you it won't probably be shot down for these same reasons lol

maybe bling just made a mistake with his build... like got gas too late and was forced to expo.

i don't think anyone could have mistaken that 1-base play. he didn't keep a stalker at nat either, so he must have known it was 1 base.

The implication is that either Bling's 6 gate in game 2 or his immortal push in game 5(?) were all-ins.

Of course, they weren't, people just like making excuses for players they like losing.

There's a big difference between a 2 base timing against a 1rax FE and a 1-1-1 in terms of all-inness.

No reason to trash TL because you try and start up a strat discussion in an LR thread instead of SC2 Strategy. So go make a thread there, but I won't lie to you and tell you it won't probably be shot down for these same reasons lol

I was not trashing TL. I am simply saying that in years past, strategic discussions could go back and forth with relative ease and not everyone flipping tables and throwing a fit.

He needs 1 game out of 3 (the score is 4-2 right?), no big deal to throw a game especially if you feel you have your opponents nunber.
