I must be ignorant, still looks atrocious for me, but I was too cheap to pay, so I can't whine much.

He had two bases and was about to get into higher tech with an extra base against an all-inning Terran who just lost half his army. Brown, for whatever reason, took his army and left his bases wide open to check on Alive's base for some reason. It's like LegalMind took over Brown's body. Okay, just to clear up confusion in this thread: Brown thought it was probably a 1-1-1 or some similar all in. In this scenario, as a Protoss you have to have your army near their base, control both watchtowers, and chip away/slow down their army with FFs and forcing them to siege/whatever you can do to buy time to get Collosi out. Brown was doing everything right. His army was supposed to be out there. He just didn't have a Pylon on the right side(most protoss do this) and/or an observer to scout for drops. Wut, he knew it was a 2rax opener. The most common follow ups are either an expand into medivacs or the one base medivac all in that aLive was doing. Hell he had an observer out to scout everything after that point anyway. Cataclysmic failure on his part not to do so. You're all missing my "or some similar all in". Like I said, he still needs to slow down aLive's push until he can get his collosi out. You do that by using FFs and having your army up ahead a bit. But he didn't have a scout for drops(either pylon or observer). His army position was right, he just didn't have proper map control. Brown's observer saw the starport with the reactor.
Yes, which is why he should have had a Pylon or observer watching for drops.

Saw the Brown match with a friend.
Feel vindicated about my general feelings about sotg. Alive did nothing at all to match Wax's hype thread. Brown for his part looked very promising and quite good... but no one will ever know what caused that fishing expedition =.=. He looks promising and it isn't unreasonable that he doesnt advance in Code S this season. That said Alive has a lot to prove. I would be more content if it was player like SC making up the distribution rather than Alive.

He didn't need them. Drops were aLive's only option at that point.

MKP kills the tech lab in his base because he can't think to steal it with his own production buildings >.<
MKP also attacked happy killing units / scvs

wouldve been hilarious if MKP stole the addon instead of destroying it

Why would you kill the techlab? It would've been free 50/25

Just admit the failure, it's getting sad at this point, the guy even scouted alive's base.

No, that's why he shouldn't have been out on the map =/

Good TvT so far, pretty constant action. MKP overcommitting with the early elevator though.
