why not double expand? taking a 3rd was a good move, but dobule expanding would have been eve better, wouldn't it?

Firstly, I agree that some abilities like fungal are not the best from a game design standpoint, but I don't think that's the reason for these drawn out games in the first place. And secondly I think that my opinion is shared with most of the community when I say that these long epic games are really entertaining.


Great games are games where two players play perfectly and are always on the map attacking and looking for an advantage.

For example Jjakji vs Leenock on Taldarim, that is the perfect game.

This game was full of mistakes and both players sat still doing nothing.

Personaly I thought this was a great game 20min of intence action followed by somethign we dont see that much.


I wouldn't expect the blindest Stephano fanboy on TL to understand why any Stephano game was a bad game.


I woulnt expect the biggest korean elitist that thinks Koreans dont make mistakes to enjoy a game where none korean are playing

I´ll have to be honest, I am not liking how Thorzain plays TvZ lately he just turtles too damn much. Maps like metal don´t help and now we get Shakuras.....

Its not about abilities like Fungal either this is mostly because metal and shakuras are too defensive maps. You can defend everything without giving it too much though.

And yeah as much as people may disagree there is a point where defenders advantage can be too much...

Because you can move out of Dark Swarm...? Dark Swarm would force Terran to unsiege, move units back, re-position himself, and engage at different angles.

Fungal makes Terran stay still, take DPS, and die. Therefore, Terran is afraid to move forward.

See the difference?

He should be going MMA mode on Stephano and punishing him for the lack of infestors. Instead he sends one medivac every 3/4 minutes and doesn't push alongside it.

yeah, fungal makes it so units die, giving the advantage to zerg, while swarm can make a position almost immune to a terran moving out.
