Fan Service. If that game wasn't played, people would be complaining anyways.

Has Naniwa won a game in an individual tourney since his time in Korea? No, LOL Except for getting 2nd in the hardest tournament of the year. LOL The hardest tournament of the year is any GSL. Providence was way harder dude. Every top player in the world was there essentially. Code-A Qualify is the hardest man
Naniwa had a top 4 seed at Providence. He did not play that well. He played a total of 13 games, of which he won 7 and lost 6. Not super impressive.

To be fair Naz, making two players play a game that doesn't matter, after they are both angry by a 0-3, the system should never have those types of games happen in the first place, i would have done the same thing. Its an honor match, and after calling nestea out and saying stuff like "well i won the last 2 times we played nuff said"
basically it comes down to, naniwa was afraid that he would lose after calling nestea out and he threw away the game. naniwa is totally insecure like that , its totally something he would do.

Maybe because some people paid to watch this?

I remember that Tasteless once said that if someone throws away a game in GSL he is banned from GSL forever. Is that true? :-P

He seriously has balls to pull that Shit lol. He really doesn't give a FUCK =\

That was hilarious from my standpoint watching at home but that is seriously disrespectful to gomtv. Koreans don't take stuff like that lightly.

Blame GOM instead for first making this whole shit bo1s and then forcing players to play pointless matches Right because in a professional sport environment there aren't teams/players that have to play pointless games? Normally both sides just go all out to give us the most enjoyable game possible, but Naniwa just said "fuck it". Stop blaming gom for everything jezus some people
I'm sure all the teams in the NFL that are eliminated from the playoffs aren't even going to bother to play these next 3 weeks!

Fuck Naniwa, can't show respect for fans, sponsors and fellow competitors. Go home and stay there.

Also, I aren't a fan of the 2 rax opening in TvZ and I think Leenock just showed exactly why... Yeah, seriously. Isn't leenock known as being one of the more cheesier zergs anyway? That's why he's so successful. He's relentless. Smells blood, goes for the kill. But also can play a incredible macro game. You which SC1 player is known for doing that? Every top tier sc1 pro will do stuff like that. They care about winning and being the best.

i think he was really pissed at the time. getting cheesed out twice and making alot of blunders in another game. but still..... honestly i wouldnt want to see another terrible game from him.

Lol.
Pretty sure naniwa would have forfeited if they let him. Quite obvious that he didn't want to play the game.
I mean, he is a player that plays to win, and doesnt really care about fanservice... so I understand him... though it was still not a wise thing to do.

Kespa never forces a player into a pointless match so this would never have happened in a kespa run tournament

You do realize that people paid to see the Blizzard Cup ? don't you ? The Nestea vs Naniwa was one of the most expected rematch given the story they had at providence. Perhaps... But perhaps, this is how the drama and the story continues~

Naniwa needs to learn this is a spectator sport now and grow up a bit it doesnt matter if it was a meaningless game.
|
why didn't Naniwa write 'gg wp' instead of just gg'ing? would be more fun
