Likewise, MVP has looked incredibly mortal in team leagues, I believe his GSTL Season 1 performance amounted to a whopping 1-2 record, a win against Doctor G in the playoffs, and losses to qxc and TAiLS. LosirA and Happy are probably the two players we'll see from the high end of the IM side, both of whom can fall prey to HerO, who has amazing PvZ (although LosirA has insane ZvP). Happy has not looked good in TvP lately, with his most recent team league appearance being a loss to NsHSSan on Daybreak. Liquid also holds an almost unknown card in their deck in the form of Zenio, who hasn't had many televised matches recently. Combine this with HayprO holding the possibility of taking out LosirA ZvZ I think the biggest worry after that would be SaSe, who could easily fall to HerO in PvP. All in all it's going to come down to when Liquid decides to toss out it's Korean powerhouses. I don't think this will be nearly as one sided as people think.

First of all, NesTea almost absolutely refuses to play in GSTL, it's been said in interviews, etc. He doesn't like to play Team League because it denies him his greatest strength, which is preparation for specific opponents. NesTea's GSTL Season 1 record was a very impressive, almost bonjwa-esque 0-1. Losira is extremely accomplished in these team leagues, and Happy is also very good, capable of all-killing Liquid. Sure, the chances of Nestea and MVP coming out are slim, but the situation here is similar to Slayers: There are B-teamers on IM that most of us are not familiar with but nevetheless have huge talent. Who was Lots, who was Golden? Yet both these players have gotten All-kills against very respectable foreign teams. IM has lots of depth, and especially so because these players are overshadowed by Nestea or MVP. We all are very familiar with Liquid's roster. Hero and Zenio are strong players, but Losira made quick work of Hero in the MLG global invite and Zenio is more of a ZvZ sniper with lackluster vP and vT. Ret and Sheth are not bad by foreign standards, and might take out a Korean or two. The rest of the roster is either frustratingly inconsistent or just does not stand a chance against the Koreans. Would love to see Liquid win, but my rationality tells me QIM every time.

San's still pretty good at PvT. Haypro's success at Providence is either a sign of great improvement or a titanic outlier. Don't be too quick to assume either. Zenio is still bad unless he proves otherwise. ![]() And don't forget the IM B-teamers (somewhat worse than other teams', but the biggest concern for Liquid).

Not saying Jinro can't make it back to the top, but I still think Liquid needs a stronger Terran player.

I believe the matches in the RO8 have been played, but later rounds, including the finals, have not yet been played. Nevertheless, QIM will finish this tournament as 1 entity because they initially signed up for this tournament as 1 entity and want to see it through. So this may be the last time we see Destiny and MVP on the same team.
