To add to the discussion at hand, I don't think TL is lagging behind. They had a great early performance as a team getting so many foreigners into GOMTV, and they're and will still be beasts to play against. Ret places above most foreigners in non-korean tournaments, which means he places better than almost all non-koreans. If Hero won the last tournament would that even be a topic? I don't think so.

Shouldn't this have started 15 minutes ago, EU rebroadcast without an actual stream sounds a little off.

Well the thing about liquid that I dont really get is why such a top level team is keeping so many players that are quite notorious for not training too much (haypro, tyler, ret 3 hours a day - what?). Eventhough I love those guys way back from the sc1 days - in a powerhouse like liquid there just have to be results at all costs.

I really hope liquid gets over this overly "friendly" liquid policy. The teamspirit and friendship has to be there, but it shouldnt in any way be interfering with the results.

I dont mean to troll in any way, i cheer for liquid players in every tournament possible. I am just curious, what are your opinions on this matter?

These guys are the reason over half (probably way over) Liquid fans are actually Liquid fans in the first place. I have zero interest in an artificially built team of players I don't give a shit about. It's hard for me to accept new members as it is, and the only thing that makes me happy is that we're only getting oGs members that a few guys have already been living with and recruitment is extremely selective in general.

Results at all costs is an awful mentality. We can talk of falling behind in results when other foreign teams actually catch up with the results.

Liquid players could take a break for a year and most of big foreign teams still wouldn't catch up in terms of major lan wins.

In general Liquid actually places overall pretty high - So I agree with Batssa

Even though it sometimes (before Hero) they had their troubles getting a mayor win - but, still getting the high placements
You can attack with this?!

Don't get me wrong, Liquid is still a huge powerhouse team. But there is no reason why it cannot do better.

A year ago, these EGs and Mouz teams wouldn't dare compete against you? I mean what happened? Did your metagame drop off?

So what are you proposing?

It's simple, recruit the Koreans.

I support any Liquid member trying their best (Jinro slugging it out in Korea) and have potential (TLO started playing at a fairly high level since he was a kid, if only his hands can keep up).

All-kill was really sad, hope it won't happen again....

The upside to this is that the only person who was even close to beating Sase (and in fact had a major advantage for a while) was Tyler. Signs of things to come? :D #hopeful

Not a surprise at all, TL players (besides Hero) are falling behind the learning curve of other teams. Send more TL players to Korea!!!!!

See, this is the problem w/ IPL and NASL. These games are not relevant anymore because they were recorded so long ago and QIM dissolved. Will watch anyway though (if I can catch it).
