After losing 10+ drones to hellions and Puma dropping continuously throughout the entire series why would you not build spore/spine crawlers at least in your main mineral line to help defend against the hellion harrass? I mean its even less static then building cannons or turrets since you can pick them up and move them later. I mean 100+ drones lost??? Thats 5000+ minerals lost + the time to rebuild them and the lost mining time. Why not invest 400 minerals in some damn spine crawlers? Is there something I am missing? | ||

Yeah, if you watched his interview with Thorzain after Thorzain's win it just shows how talented and professional he is. Asks really interesting, easy, and important questions. He knows what works from the his production side and is appealing for the viewer watching. Even some other really well-known casters look incredibly amateurish by comparison in those situations. | ||

Is there something I am missing? this is just my personal opinion, but if you build a spinecrawler instead of making a roach, that's 2 drones worth of minerals just to make the spinecrawler, plus the drone that actually creates the spinecrawler itself. so when you're down a ton of drones already and you have the option to make roaches with speed, you save drones/minerals by droning and going roach sparingly, and you also gain mobile defense that can turn into a mobile offense very quickly if it needs to. | ||
