Same drill as usual: - No caster bashing.
- Excessive tournament bashing that detracts from game discussion will be met with moderator action. Criticism is welcome, whining is not.
- In general do your best to stay on topic and discuss what we're all here for: the games.
Enjoy the games guys. |

This type of game is so boring Especially if you have no idea what's going on, it's almost just as difficult to watch as WoW arena. If I read game 1 correctly, Online Kingdom was winning game 1 for a bit, then almost threw the game and it ended on Fnatic going allin and failing. If that's decently close to how the game was going, even though Online Kingdom seems to be dominating this game, it makes me scared they might fail to end the game(atleast fast :/)

Meh - I don't mind HoN as a game, and I can respect that people like it.
But at 360 at least this game is SO bad for a spectator. The dota-graphics don't cut it after so long, and the spectator interface is very clunky. :S

Why not implement something interesting like quake or cs! MOBA is fun to play but sucks to watch. Exactly. I was watching Dreamhack last weekend and Quake came up. I understood what was happening within five minutes and it was very entertaining (thumbs up to the great casters!), even though having never seen Quake before.

I sure wish NASL would stick to a schedule and get this off the starcraft stream at 12:00 when they say starcraft matches are supposed to start...

kind of starting to lose my patience for hearing the "playgu" everytime plague rider ults.. One time breaky, one time

I don't get why the hon UI is so dam busy. The game is hard enough to see what's happening without all the extra stuff. We don't need to know every single detail every single minute.

haha, did they not allow enough time for the HoN games which threw off the schedule, or have the games just been unusually long?

okay SC2 "drone"...
seriously your logic so pathetic stop insulting others under the guise of the SC2 community, I sure as hell don't agree with NASL's decision but i'm not going to look like the battle.net forum and insult others, I'm going to keep up the standards of Team Liquid.
edit: P.s "lol-drones" and not linked from the game, stop spreading false information.

It's general knowledge that HoN will die the day DOTA2 comes out since HoN plays really similar to DOTA.
LoL will survive since it plays differently and is far more casual.
I find it interesting that NASL hitched their wagon to a dying horse with HoN. It says something about their management.

I mean atm i think HON is in a rough spot, and LoL is much more popular. Also i don't mind if they have like what MLG has, but just separate the games.

question to the hon experts here:
they switch teams because they admit that one might be favored, even though the map is supposed to be symmetrical
since there's only one map, what happens in the third game? (if red wins twice, who gets to play red for the final game?)
|
can someone tell me why lol and hon look that similiar? is it the same or an addon? o.O (never watched/played one of these games).
|
how many points does the red team need to win?

actually the load of information is the interesting part when u play HoN on a certain level

LOL every other sentence is "zomg online kingdom rocking this fight"...maybe it'll be over soon...

NASL... (North American Star League) why is it, that everytime i pull up this stream, they are playing a game other than starcraft? And also, why is it, to be able to chat with others in the stream, i have to pay money? why is it that there is only a low quality stream available to those who live from paycheck to paycheck and cant afford great things like HD streams of starcraft?
In all honesty, its not about the money. It's about the fact, that i would pay money to watch a bunch of games i really dont care about.
NASL... well done becoming the next gom.tv ..... the worst thing ever on the interwebz for people who like to watch pro gaming

Yea don't really make sense. LoL is different game to dota while HoN is basically a clone so it makes more sense to go with LoL over HoN with dota 2 most likely killing off HoN.

Imo the original DotA was fun to watch. But that game had way less "BANG" in their chose of color and were generally less flashy, so it was easier to see what was going on, and DotA had good established casters.
Dont worry tho. Im 6 months from now it's gonna be mostly DotA 2 imho. way better interface and streamlined design and easier to see whats going on. Not to mention it's freaking valve and Icefrog and all the immensely talented DotA1 players have emerged to DotA2 (like the old danish mym player go Mælk :D).
Dota players are kinda like bw players and hon/lol are like the mediocre sc1 players who are doing good in hon/lol. Thats my opinion at least.

When does sc2 start.... there's like 3 different times listed between the schedule graphic, the liquidpedia schedule and the first page...? Is it 3pm est or 5pm est??
"12:00 pm PST
Ro16 Match 1 "
"Match 1 15:00 EST (-05:00)"
wtf..

Hero kills and tower kills. There's 11 towers in HoN, once the final two are down you can begin destroying the main building and win the game. Once they're at a big building that looks like a tree or some demon hell pit w/e it's pretty much over
