Because you think it's intrusive or because you don't think the players want to share their heartrate? It's intrusive, I don't know if the players were aware of this at the start of the tour though. I'm sure they could refuse if they wanted to right? It's not like they're going to kick a player out for it. Right?

I don't think you really understand.
Think of the players are dancing monkeys up there for our entertainment.

It's like saying you can't be a sports fan unless you dig bowling and NASCAR... Seriously, if you don't like it tune out. You don't see hockey fans who hate soccer go to a world cup bar and yell at the screen asking when the games going to end do you? :/ Respect its all that needs to be shown FFS. Well, you don't see a hockey broadcast stopped halfway through to show the world cup, do you? If you did, I can guarantee that you would see hockey fans complaining, and vice versa if they interrupted the world cup to show the kings playing the senators. Dreamhack is like the olympics, not like the World Cup. They celebrate everything, not just one game. You're pretty fucking ignorant and new to Dreamhack if you think they are a SC2 event And? Are you saying it's wrong to watch dreamhack for the first time and be critical of it's organization? You're complaining based off a ignorant and wrong assumption. He must smoke for the rush from the nicotine that Starcraft 2 hasn't given him since he lost his passion.

When the Olympics start i plan on observing some track & field forums to see if they bitch about when the broadcast switches to gymnastics or power lifting and talk down the other sports as olympic sports.

It doesn't even mean that much, since every human has different steady pulse.

I think its kind of silly. Do they wire them up or something? I feel like that could interfere with their play... It's just a strap around your chest. It's not unconfortable and there are no cables I think.
