You don't see hockey fans who hate soccer go to a world cup bar and yell at the screen asking when the games going to end do you? :/ Respect its all that needs to be shown FFS. Well, you don't see a hockey broadcast stopped halfway through to show the world cup, do you? If you did, I can guarantee that you would see hockey fans complaining, and vice versa if they interrupted the world cup to show the kings playing the senators. Dreamhack is like the olympics, not like the World Cup. They celebrate everything, not just one game. You're pretty fucking ignorant and new to Dreamhack if you think they are a SC2 event I don't know about you, but when I tune in to watch an Olympic event, they don't show a different one in between matches. =\ Uh, that is like all they do at the track and field. lol that guy has never watched the Olympics in his life. They constantly jump between events, show updates, skip prelims for finals, have semis of one event before going to a totally different one, etc.

Its not that the people who are upset that they stopped the SC2 tourney to show SSF4 are upset that SSF4 is considered an e-Sport it is that they want to watch SC2 not SSF4. SC2 has a huge scene so tourney organizers seem to be lumping in finals of other games to increase viewers (ala LoL at IPL) They didnt just "stop the SC2 tourney" ... There is a fuckin SCHEDULE Dont try to be logical. People dont care if a LOL tournament is scheduled before a SC2 final (IPL), they will complain anyway.

It doesn't even mean that much, since every human has different steady pulse.

Well, I don't watch track, so I wouldn't know. But when I tune in to watch wrestling, I do not seeing swimming too.

E-Sports is already taken lightly by outsiders, putting us under the "No Life" and "Nerd" column, so why bash our fellow gamers? I've played games from WC2, SC1, WC3, HoN, LoL, and SC2. Obviously I love every game, well, besides HoN it was pretty stupid. That doesn't mean I should be bashing the game, they're other people out their playing the game and if anything if they're good at it and trying to grow the community, I would respect them even more.
E-Sports will never be taken seriously if we continue to put down another community of E-Sports. Ofcourse i think ESPORTS is amazing, and should get more recognision and social acceptance, but each of the ESPORTS games have their own community. Why should all the different communities bond together and watch eachother games? You don't see a combined Poker/Bridge tournament right? Or a world championship football/basketball. Each community has its own interests and wants to watch their preferred game. Ofcourse they don't have to shit on games they don't play, but i won't spectate COD/SF/Halo/LOL just for the sake of growing esports, if i don't like those games.
Yeah, why should niche communities and markets bond together to create something much bigger and support each other? What good would ever come out of that lol.
And he never mentioned anything about having to watch the other games, just don't fucking shit on them. -.- .
