go go mc!
I was laughing so hard, when he did that. People flamed the shit out of naniwa for thumbs downing nestea, but wasn't as severe when MC did this. So weird
Thumbs downing is somewhat mean spirited. This is just awesome!
It's not like it was MC's fault he got consumed by a monster in the booth that then excaped and threatened the audience, good thing MLG got that sorted out :o
With stargate play denying map vision, I just don't see how you can hold off that sentry drop timing. If you don't have units constantly tucked near the spores, void rays will eat you. But if you protect your units, the sentry drop kills you. Even if idra split his army, he would have still lost. He has no effective anti air, and Zerg actually need it to defeat this build. 3 base play might disappear, which will make forge expand unbelievably strong.
Need really quick hydras or corruptors to stop this. Spores suck.

MC got a lot of flack in the GSL when thumbing down opponents and being cocky before they got used to it. The bashers have simply gotten tired of him and are looking for a new target.

Usually when people do this its because the proposal is long overdue and expected. I've been with my gf for 4.5 years, and we are still in school so no engagement but its definitely coming and we both know it Prob when I graduate grad school and get a real job is when it's going to happen lol

And it looks like MVP/Nestea have been playing each other too long. They forgetting how to play against Protoss, lol. They need some Boxer level late night strategizing.

This is why Hydras need to be tier 1.5 again. Zerg needs their anti-air sooner.

You do realize MC did the "thumbs down" to idra @ Columbus right?

This thread got closed after that match. But Naniwa somewhat deserves it here though, he acted really immature there. (not just the "ceremony")
Calling MLG a "fucking joke" was going a bit too far, but if I was versing NesTea in a deciding match, after confirming with an admin, and then finding out that the map was completely different to what I thought? I'd be pretty pissed, and so would you. If IdrA was in that position, we all know there would have been a shitstorm that would rival the tornado that hit last MLG. Considering Naniwa's past, a single line of text and then immediate acceptance is a pretty large step forward.

ding ding ding! Also roach tunnelling claws, IdrA would of held that even without the spore.
Tunneling claws and burrow is an awful huge investment to prevent a strategy that the protoss can do almost whenever he wants after a warp prism is out. Especially when the protoss can just fly away and lose nothing if he chooses.

Honestly, that baneling all-in has to do more damage. Both games Idra all-ins w/o doing much damage, dies to a warp prism sentry and all the zergs start crying. I want to see a macro game where the zerg has +20-30 supply @ that point. 2 games where a player all-ins and dies to a strat and then starts to cry makes no sense.

Apparently NanIwa hosted the wrong map and blamed the admins for it and called the tournament a joke, delaying the broadcast.
NanIwa comes off as a arrogant, bitter person to alot of people ( me included ) because of the childish way he acts. He's very good but if he want's to be respected by most, he needs to grow up, it's not really just this one thing but his attitude in general.

Even better. Pair him up with Mr. Bitter or Artosis. The little jabs at Zerg/Protoss weaknesses will slowly drive him mad.
