how are people confused with how people are acting with naniwa? He acted semi-malicious and immature. MC was playing around trolling not taking it seriously. This is straight forward obvious stuff, it's common sense that obviously when players like naniwa take BM seriously like that against a well-respected player and tournament people will get pissed off.
Don't try to high horse the community, you're not making yourself look any better.

Has there been similar complaints here? Haven't been following the LR too closely. This thread got closed after that match. But Naniwa somewhat deserves it here though, he acted really immature there. (not just the "ceremony") Calling MLG a "fucking joke" was going a bit too far, but if I was versing NesTea in a deciding match, after confirming with an admin, and then finding out that the map was completely different to what I thought? I'd be pretty pissed, and so would you. If IdrA was in that position, we all know there would have been a shitstorm that would rival the tornado that hit last MLG. Considering Naniwa's past, a single line of text and then immediate acceptance is a pretty large step forward.
I agree that everyone would be mad, but as a represent of one of the biggest and oldest teams in the e-sport scene, you simply don't act so unprofessionally.

This is just awesome! What am I missing here? In GSTL they thumb each other down all the time. MC have done it (as well said similar things towards opponents as Naniwa). What is suddenly so outrageous with a thumbs down?

That's not true, during the day they are really excited, but like in every MLG, by the very end of the night they are tired / reduced in numbers. It's a tough event.

Has there been similar complaints here? Haven't been following the LR too closely. Apparently NanIwa hosted the wrong map and blamed the admins for it and called the tournament a joke, delaying the broadcast. NanIwa comes off as a arrogant, bitter person to alot of people ( me included ) because of the childish way he acts. He's very good but if he want's to be respected by most, he needs to grow up, it's not really just this one thing but the way his attitude in general.
Honestly that still sounds pretty similar to Idra

Marriage proposals on your main stage are a lot like warp prism sentry drops in your main. You just can't say no.

Have we just witnessed the fall of Terran this MLG?

boooooooom banelings killed all TLO's drones he ggs

Wow, the loser bracket is crowded with Terran. Terran is having a really bad day. Hope Bomber, MVP, MMA, MKP can make it

Yeah, they really need to take a hint from this and just host these tournaments in major cities from now on. Anaheim was a blast with the crowd as excited as they were . . . providence fans, for the most part, seem knocked out on cold medicine or something.

It's designated to counter all this shit terrans were throwing at him lately, that means all these mass hellion builds into marauders and stuff so he came up with his own build, which is scary btw, and did exacly the same build twice against MMA and just crushed him in a one sided fashion. In my opinion, going roach/baneling/speedling with that timing, it is almost impossible for terran to hold if he went with hellions first.

Looking at the Championship brackets...can we finally claim that Terran is not imba? People just needed time to adjust to their play style?
I mean most of the bracket in the later stages is non terran. We just have a crap ton of TvT early on tomorrow

If you don't have units constantly tucked near the spores, void rays will eat you. But if you protect your units, the sentry drop kills you. Even if idra split his army, he would have still lost. He has no effective anti air, and Zerg actually need it to defeat this build. 3 base play might disappear, which will make forge expand unbelievably strong.
Need really quick hydras or corruptors to stop this. Spores suck. Yeah, it's so OP even though it's been around for months why don't they just do it every single game! It's a new 1-1-1 guys, calling it from 1 game where MC has historically stomped idra every time they meet.

And yet, MC is more personable and doesn't seem like as much as a raging asshole. Hm.

Sundance said this on reddit: '' He chose the wrong map then freaked. Delayed the broadcast and lashed out. It's not our job to make sure he knows which maps have crosses and which do not. He also chose before the admin went in to talk to him.
Onward and upward...
''
So yeah he had no right to complain at all, just classic naniwa.

I've seen some zergs do it on stream before and I'm pretty sure its intended to stop the ramp forcefield tactics. ding ding ding! Also roach tunnelling claws, IdrA would of held that even without the spore. Tunneling claws and burrow is an awful huge investment to prevent a strategy that the protoss can do almost whenever he wants after a warp prism is out. Especially when the protoss can just fly away and lose nothing if he chooses.
That would imply the ONLY use for tunnelling claws is to defend this strat, which is far fromt he case. Its a super super useful ability for the whole game. Look at roach-heavy users like SLush and Stephano.. and even IdrA used to do heavy roach/tunneling strats which will totally dominate a protoss if he doesnt have an observer.
By your logic, you can say having to get blink to stop muta harass is an awfully large investment which a zerg can do whenever he wants after mutas are out (and we know how good mutas are)
