Has there been similar complaints here? Haven't been following the LR too closely. Apparently NanIwa hosted the wrong map and blamed the admins for it and called the tournament a joke, delaying the broadcast. NanIwa comes off as a arrogant, bitter person to alot of people ( me included ) because of the childish way he acts. He's very good but if he want's to be respected by most, he needs to grow up, it's not really just this one thing but the way his attitude in general.
I'm pretty sure that the admins are the ones who host the maps. They told Naniwa that it's cross spawn only. Naturally, Naniwa was pissed that he scouted the wrong way.
Edit: not to mention that his build may have been based on far positions.

It's sorta like that except it can't be stopped easily.

I like that he's becoming a polarizing figure. The drama is what makes this scene so goddamn entertaining. If everyone was silly and nice to each other the game wouldn't be half as interesting to watch. Everyone loves nice guys like Sheth and WhiteRa but they bring little drama to the table. Starcraft needs more Naniwa's/Idra's. Go bad guys! Love it.

So yeah he had no right to complain at all, just classic naniwa. Wow. That's kind of ridiculous.

Thumbs downing is done in GTSL all the time and has been done in BW for years. It's not a big deal. I think Naniwa haters just want an excuse to hate.

My thoughts are that 6ish roachs at the top of the ramp + 1 spore at ramp + 2 queens in main would stop this cold. (rest of the roachs at nat/3rd). If you drop sentries into roachs they will only be able to get 1 ff off, and you still have roachs in main to defend. 2 queens in main + the spore are enough to prevent the pheo/voids from killing the roachs. What MC was doing was also an all in, as he had no way of securing his third vs 3 base mass roach after investing that much into tech.

Preparing for drops is part of SC2. No one had to do it against protoss and now they do. I will take a slight nerf to WP or switch some shields for HP, but its not going to change much. Players need to realize that Protoss can drop their entire production line in their base.
Its no different than when a terran "doom drop"s a protoss and forces them into a base race that the terran knows they can win.

Sorry but Anaheim and Columbus crowds never died down and never left early. You can watch those vods if you want, or look it up on youtube. If you want a hyped crowd you have to go where the hyped up fans are apparently.

DRG's build is designated to counter MMA's style. It's designated to counter all this shit terrans were throwing at him lately, that means all these mass hellion builds into marauders and stuff so he came up with his own build, which is scary btw, and did exacly the same build twice against MMA and just crushed him in a one sided fashion. In my opinion, going roach/baneling/speedling with that timing, it is almost impossible for terran to hold if he went with hellions first. MMA is historically bad against early game rushes in every single matchup. One game does not show anything in this case. MMA lost to a 5 gate timing against MKP's toss, loses to early game terran all the time, and lost to Lucky 3-0 to a similar roach rush build.

What raging asshole? You honestly think Naniwa did that b/c he was a raging asshole? lmao

Honestly, I just think (hope) she was just a bit too shocked to actually put enough acting into the proposal response. You can't assume that le gasp and a wide smile would be every girl's response even if they did mean the yes and were really happy afterwards.
Here's to them being happy together!

Has there been similar complaints here? Haven't been following the LR too closely. This thread got closed after that match. But Naniwa somewhat deserves it here though, he acted really immature there. (not just the "ceremony") Calling MLG a "fucking joke" was going a bit too far, but if I was versing NesTea in a deciding match, after confirming with an admin, and then finding out that the map was completely different to what I thought? I'd be pretty pissed, and so would you. If IdrA was in that position, we all know there would have been a shitstorm that would rival the tornado that hit last MLG. Considering Naniwa's past, a single line of text and then immediate acceptance is a pretty large step forward. I agree that everyone would be mad, but as a represent of one of the biggest and oldest teams in the e-sport scene, you simply don't act so unprofessionally. Yeah. But MLG should give him a warning or a technical or whatever and then make his managers talk to him about his behavior. I agree that he should have been penalized in some way and given a stern warning.
People complaining about it and calling him BM and stuff and discrediting his win and saying he doesn't deserve it or whatever is silly really.

Seems like you need to leave 5 roaches in the main and then just target fire the sentries with the 5 roaches.
The reason that you have 5 is cause that's how many roaches you need to 1 shot a sentry!

What we need is a real beast to show itself in the next months. He will take 5 GSLs in a row and talk bm like no other. He will be known for his malicious grin and intimidating taunts. He will be better than MVP and bm more than Destiny. A true legend.

Well to be fair the admins did tell him that it was cross spawn only- that is why he picked the map- to find out it is not is a huge mental blow considering it is probably the biggest reason Naniwa picked the map. Dunno why you guys are acting so childish- these people spend hundreds of hours practicing- of course they are gonna be pissed if something like that happens.
