I'm sure everyone here never ladders when they feel tired or overstressed, but these guys have to play tournament games in front of a large audience. I think its amazing that they can do this and still show some great skill.

He 2gated HuK. It was obvious he'd get outmicroed. It was an odd and highly debatable decision that could only lead to the result we've seen.

Nestea hasn't attended a single MLG, so therefore hes put at a big disadvantage. Truer fax have never been spoken.

No doubt DRG will lose to MMA, and then Idra and MC will somehow both advance ><

It kinda was not talking about that not only was it not what it was talking about , it's kind of hard to decipher skill levels when there are so many factors going into MLG weekends where as gsl provides ample time which rewards the better player (usually) though it also has it's downsides, I really want to see foreigners prove they have what it takes and bring these kind of games to a stage like gsl.

As much as outsiders looking in want to attribute victories and losses to things outside of the actual game, it is not so. And this is what leads to the flame wars in these threads. Hero attempted a strategy and executed it quite well; Huk was the better player and out-micro'd him and defeated him. People need to watch the games and stop trying to analyze them like psychologists. Congratulations to HuK. Who, which professional gamers? its complet bullshit I have heard from many players the MLG system is totally unfair towards the open bracket players. Isnt it strange no open bracket players is left in the championship bracket again? And the best players in the world was here? The fact is MLG pool/open bracket system is so unfair its allmost retarded.

It's entirely fair for posters to complain about it too, right or wrong.

Referees may approve or deny a Player’s request to Pause a Game. Pausing a Game without Referee’s or opposing Player’s permission will result in a Warning. Each subsequent Warning that a Player receives will result in a Forfeit of the Game (See Equipment Rule #18 & Gameplay Rule #19). IM head coach is really rather unhappy by the looks of his twitter. Additionally it states pretty obviously on the MLG website what maps are to be used, which versions and the spawn positions available to them. Just going on a bit more to sportsmanship it's like in cricket when the bowler is on a hat trick ball and you'll come in and take guard twice, stop the bowler mid run up to adjust your equipment or something, ask that the sightscreen be moved, it's all about getting in their head and disrupting momentum which is, to be very british about it... just not cricket They should have re-made the game. It's not fair to allow a pause after a scout. It allowed Nani to gather his thoughts and his build order. We don't have a pause metagame fellas. The very nature of Starcraft is a fast, precision game that rewards preparation and execution and perfection. Pausing is effectively a form of cheating the game.
