Hopefully it's removed for the next finals. It's a decently balanced map that also has some other redeeming qualities. Mainly it has a lower average game length then most of the other map, so it allows more macro maps. Remember these tournaments take some time to run, and if we had all insane macro maps it would take forever to run. Also when put into a BOX (bo3, bo5, bo7) series it opens up the option of a lot of cool rushes and cheeses depending on the series, it's an interesting mental thing as well as allows for more variety. Also Bel'Shir Beach causes Orb's SC2 to crash all the time, so that is out for a 2p "rush map". The stats aren't horrible either, ZvP is a bit high but not out of control: TvZ: 86-70 (55.1%) | ZvP: 51-37 (58%) | PvT: 61-67 (47.7%) Vaild points but I don't see how that makes Dual Sight any better than iCCup Pawn Re or Xelnaga Caverns (which is quite problematic in ZvT but not as Dual Sights ZvP judging from TLPD Korea). The only real advantage over those two maps is the fact that Dual Sight is a GSL map. The stats aren't horrible for international TLPD sure, but internaional TLPD contains too many Competo cups and mid tier cups that have a huge player skill divide. Korean TLPD on the other hand shows these stats: TvZ: 33-27 (55%) ZvP: 26-11 (70.3%) PvT: 19-28 (40.4%) http://www.teamliquid.net/tlpd/sc2-korean/maps/445_Dual_Sight Edit: Right now Dual Sight is the only choice. It was that or Tal'Darim Altar and we already had a ton of macro maps (Sanshorn, Antiga, Daybreak, Katrina, Ithaca), adding TDA would have made this run much much longer. Crossfire leads to silly games, and Bel'Shir crashes Orb's comp. I don't get the hate on crossfire. It's had some of the most memorable GSL games. Dual sight isn't that bad, but kind of sucks ass for protoss.

I'm hoping for Min/forGG/Annyung/BboongBboong to be top non-ranked player. BboongBboong has so much potential.

that vote is kind of hard... i bet many people WANT forGG to advance and at the same time know Taeja looks like the obvious choice to make it.

I got to be honest, it's a nice change of pace for a Korean tourney. I don't think I've ever seen an all Z Korean group ever.

So suppose Taeja is first. Does the Code A seed then go to whoever is second?

Yep. If that person is in Code A/S then it goes to 3rd place, etc etc.

forGG O.o
edit: I will stay up just for him!

Ninja'd.
I think Forgg has a chance to advance from the group, taeja may have an off-day :x

Don't forget that also two people advance (TL polls don't allow multiple answers T_T)

From what I understand of the format, it's top 2 that advances from the group. So, both TaeJa and ForGG can conceivably make it through into the playoffs. We won't have to decide between them, at least for now.
Edit: Diamond got to it first. T.T
Oh right, it's going to be a Bo3 series isn't it?

ForGG has a good chance of advancing. He won't beat Taeja (who will? lol). But Tassadar and Nettie aren't particularly good PvT.
Prediction for Group A:
Taeja vs. Tassadar ForGG vs. Nettie Taeja vs. ForGG Nettie vs. Tassadar ForGG vs. Nettie

Figured out a better way to do the poll:
