I doubt it is because of that, much less people hate Bomber or MvP. I would guess the whole TSL-EG thing, dislike for EG, his abuse of ghosts and 111, him being a terran in current T-dominated climate, his visibility in foreign scene all play the role. But for me he is just not a likeable player without analyzing it deeply.

Puma won 4-0 over MC in the IEM finals a little while ago by going 1-1-1 four games in a row.

He has always been at the front of using abusive strategies to win, and a lot of people got upset watching 1-1-1 win four games in a row vs the best protoss in the world

Lmao can you make up some more stuff? First iem isn't even bo7, its bo5 and Puma won 3-0. He did a true 1-1-1 in one game and a 1-1-1ish build in another, but also did a standard macro game and demolished MC in that too. Also when he beat MC in nasl he didn't do the 1-1-q all in once.

He didn't even abuse anything vs kiwi. It was standard bio play

I was wrong about Bo7/Bo5 but im pretty sure it was 1-1-1 every game

I didn't watch them but I remember several people saying it was 1-1-1- every game because it caused a lot of controversy.

I am almost 100% certain it was 1-1-1 every game, and in one particular game Puma pulled borderline all of his scv's, killed mc's natural and then lost his entire army including scv's - MC counterattacked a little, fell back because puma was behind a wall with a small marine army and a tank or two, and died 5 minutes later to another 1-1-1 push with all scvs pulled even though he had a ~30 worker lead after puma lost all of that stuff

I agree with you about IPL3 being better overall,

EXCEPT for the 3 hours long LoL advertisement during the semi-final.

except that it was planned, scheduled, the LOL was going on the entire day, and everyone knew in advance that the final for that would happen first so people could watch both and their wouldn't be any splitting of peoples' interests.

It wasn't. Game 2 on terminus was a macro game.

Ok, my bad. the other two were really horrible 1-1-1's and the game i just mentioned really made a lot of people extremely angry

Go go Tyler!
Even during difficult times, when I sat down to play the game, there were times where it felt like god has descended down and played [for me].

The IPL3 finals were played at ~4am europe - They planned this for their 1-2 hundred thousand viewers?

Not suprised they lost half of them when they put the the LoL best of 3 on stream

Here's the recap from IEM:

Opening the match on Xel'Naga Caverns with the classic 1/1/1 siege tank, marine, banshee, raven push, MC defended expertly defended by sacrificing his natural and countering with immortals. PuMa's second attack wave was too much for MC, despite the Protoss holding a heft supply lead.

The second map, Terminus, was a solid macro game featuring plenty of storms and impressive warp prism plus high templar micro from MC, but PuMa's aggressive early game tech strategy, jumping to an upgrade lead quickly with double engineering bays, allowed him to power through MC's low upgraded force.

PuMa closed out the series using a similar strategy on Metalopolis, going for a 1/1/1 raven, marine, and siege tank attack backed with a medivac or two. He ignored banshee this time in part perhaps due to MC's strategy choice: phoenix harass. The Protoss angled for a big base trade, hiding a base at another main and hoping his mobile blink stalkers and phoenix could give him the win when PuMa pushed out, but the Terran's force was too big and floating Terran buildings too strong.

The article states that Puma abuses 1/1/1/. 2 of his 3 games were won with 1/1/1, so I'm not sure why you're defending him so much.

First game Puma pulled some 20 scv's with his attack, lost them all, MC had over double his supply and later lost, if i recall correctly

if i recall correctly here too he got rolled with marine marauder ghost after loosing a warp prism full of templar and loosing his entire gateway army + reinforcements without being able to contest the bio force

Cause people like you say all he does is 1-1-1 when its just not true. He has a wide variety of builds and kicks ass with all of them

Anyways, back to topic. HuK and Tyler both going blink, tylers blink finished first, he engages and blinks down ramp, huk blinks to follow him, tyler looses quite a few stalkers and escapes with 3, robo 70% done, huk adds a gateway, tyler has a nexus at 80% too

As far as I remember it was not, it was I think 2 1-1-1 and one quite late game where ghosts owned MC because his Warp prism got sniped(+ other factors).

I didn't watch them but I remember several people saying it was 1-1-1 every game because it caused a lot of controversy.

As far as I remember it was not, it was I think 2 1-1-1 and one quite late game where ghosts owned MC because his Warp prism got sniped(+ other factors).

Yes this, i think MC was ahead in the early/midgame but either way, 1-1-1 in game 1 with ~20 scv's pulled into another one base 1-1-1 push, that warp prism snipe into stim+amove annihilating army and third game also being 1-1-1 upset an awful lot of people, it seemed like MC was playing really well in game 1 and 2, almost perfectly, and both games he had almost won and then got killed

Yeah, loved that comment, was just like White-Ra in HSC3, "Zealot, GG"
