Well technically nothing is granted for sen. He is not Blizzcon champion so he is on the waiting list along with -4th ranked player in GSL because Mvp can be placed in the Blizzcon champion spot (and that will free a spot for a gsl player) -DH or WCG 2nd if MVP, Nestea, Stephano, DRG, Naniwa or Leenock win one of these tournament (and if one of these players win both WCG and DH it will be even more complicated) It will be Mr Chae's decision

MMA can still make it if he wins his match against Oz. But I'd rather not because I like MC more :\ Blizzcon Qualifier, well we have Sen(who might not attend due to NASL). 4th place is Naniwa but he alreay has a spot... So yeah Blizzcon must be pretty hard to chose. I guess it could go to 4th place in GSL points but I am not too sure who got 5th and 6th at Blizzcon(Maybe Ret? Dunno stupid liquidpedia doesn't have the bracket) And oh well WCG and DH are not done. I am super happy that Leenock made it. And despite all the QQing and whine it seems Zergs are doing pretty fine.

MVP won 2 spots, you could make a case for either passing it down to the next highest player in either the GSL or Blizzcon. I'd much rather see it go to MC or MMA, that way we'd have 1-4 in GSL points and more racial diversity. Plus I don't think Sen holds a candle to MC or MMA.

edit: but mr. chae says just that "suitable replacements will be found", so it's really up to him whom to invite and we can only speculate.

You have the admit that the former has some easier competition with the same prize pool. Why would they need to give up NASL finals? According to liquipedia NASL finals are Dec 2-4th, Blizzard cup is Dec 12-17? Seems quite easy to do both. Especially since Idra should be going to korea by then (and obviously HuK is there).

Winning a MLG/NASL/IPL/DreamHack/IEM is cool and all but none of those titles hold a flame to a GSL win. Plus, GSL is on all year round whereas the other tourneys aren't. So in terms of quantity of games and prestige GSL should be at 50%.
