Coincidentally, they're also three of the next four in GSL rankings, so I think GOM will probably use those. Fionn's going to cry because you missed Polt, who's after MMA/MC and I think did a lot better than MKP this year. (1st place + more consistent overall)

(1st place + more consistent overall) Umm, there's literally no way to describe Polt as more consistent than MKP. MKP always does well, Polt doesn't. MKP just never clinches the last few games of a tournament. He's arguably one of the most consistent high level players in the game.

Because MKP has made it to a grand total of 5 Ro32s and even got knocked down to Code A. Polt on the other hand has only got knocked out 4 times in the Ro32 (although he played 1 more Code S season than MKP). It's ridiculous to say that MKP is more consistent than Polt when Polt has more GSL points even though he didn't participate in the World Championship. EDIT: And the fact that you actually claim MKP is more consistent than Polt just goes to show you how real the 'Polt Who?' meme is.

When taking only GSL results into account, MKP and Polt are pretty close consistency-wise. The fact is well represented by their GSL point standings(although I'd argue MKP is a bit ahead, Polt's GSL ranking is inflated by the 1 championship). Also, Polt has been eliminated 5 times in the Ro32 and even once in the Ro64. When you include results outside of GSL, MKP pulls ahead by an obvious distance. So no, it's not "ridiculous to say that MKP is more consistent than Polt".

It's actually a really perplexing schedule. And by perplexing, I mean they hype Code S, then forget about it to do a billion Code A games + Up/Downs....and then remember Code S have finals so try to re-hype. Whoever is in charge of scheduling at GomTV needs to be smacked over the head with a Best of 1! =P

So no, it's not "ridiculous to say that MKP is more consistent than Polt". We're talking about 2011. Not 2010. Polt has only been eliminated in the Ro32 4 times. And I could argue the same that MKP's points has been inflated by his two 2nd places, and the World Championship which gives him an unfair advantage over Polt as Polt didn't play in it. Polt on the other hand won a 64 man tournament to earn that 5000 points. As someone has put it, Polt has done better recently while MKP did a lot better in the past (although MKP is sort of back to form). Having said that, I couldn't care less if Polt or MKP is invited, as long as people give Polt the due he deserves.

Kids should show some proper respect for the champ. MKP hasnt done shit for the last ten months in the GSL. Polt undisputedly had better results, same for TOP/NaDa/Clide/Byun/sC/Bomber/Ryung (literally any terran that didnt get knocked out from ro32 in every single GSL since January) . And no dont talk about that funny 8-men world championship.
