RIGHT? no, not right, its being debated for 3 pages now. You can make a case for next in line in gsl points as well for next in line blizzcon, or they might just invite someone else totally. Mr. Chae will get it right. As long as they don't give a charity invite to Idra I'll be happy. But honestly the Blizzcon spot should be given to the highest placing not-yet-qualified player of Blizzcon IMO. Also Sen is so gosu, he'd win ezpz.
i disagree. The Blizzcon spot should go to the Blizzcon winner, and the GSL spots given to the next dudes. It's a matter of perception. MMA will own easier than Sen, and it would balance the tournament racewise. So as i said, in Mr. Chae we trust.

Bosstoss keeping his 3rd place in gsl ranking !!

Yay, another P (MC) gets a spot. Way to many Zergs atm.

i'm pretty sure sen must attend now - regardless of racial distribution.

Who gets the Blizzcon spot ? Sen for third place ? Or Mvp and the fourth best ranked GSL player takes a spot ?
|
Heh, If MVP wins tomorrow, he should be given the 3rd spot as well...
MVP - Jan to WC - 10300 pts
and
MVP - May to November - 10000+ pts
|
In that table isn't MMA the eight seed?

This event will require gom player? If it does then ill have to skip it since this player never works on my pc...

MVP might be the only terran in this tournament lol

I hope Hero, Huk, or Idra can win Dreamhack because I feel like those 3 would deserve it the most to get invited to this. Hero is going to be scary good once he gets his nerve isssues down.

Well we are missing how much are the HQ stream/VODs going to cost. Hopefully not more then 5$

They should just give himmultiple spots for fairness. Could be issues if he ends up meeting himself though.

lol that is very true. the zergs have overrun the universe.

Jay lotsa ZvZ to look forward to! (ie skip)

unless something crazy happens, I think MMA will be in... he´s 4th in GSL points, a GSL champ, slayers connection plus terran with only one in so far.

If it's group play he can advance 2 times and kick all others out of the tournament.
During the match against himself, he's so good he can play with his left hand+left foot vs right hand+right foot. So the semi-finals of this tournament is going to be MVP(left) vs MVP(right).

and secretly the left side and the right side have agreed to split the pot, and controversy would ensue about how esports is being killed.

Ugh, I really hope MC doesn't get the spot over MMA after last night's matches. Points or not he is definitely not superior as a player to MMA.

This is incredibly awesome news! And especially since I just now noticed it! Thank you GOMTV! So sweet to see Stephano and Naniwa battling with the top Koreans.
And I really like the three main concepts for 2012 GSL as well.
Very very good job indeed.
