Very dissapointing (and sad) that IPL has to go through this.
What was the deal with the battle.net excuse though, when i checked shortly after they said that i logged on and it worked fine, custom games and all.
Seems like they are missing some preperation or something, ah well its their first live event, its a learning experience, but IPL has always seemed to me like the one tournament organizer that really has it together.
Gawh, im just frusterated i wanted to watch at least group 1 and then sleep for a good portion of the day.
I think they should at least start the stream and just have it facing the stage, (like it was just before anna came on) at least we could kind of see whats going on/ see the players preparing in their booths. the venue was BLACKLISTED it has nothing to do with your bnet experience edit: and now it seems the problem is with jtv although I am not sure about that as I am watching other streams on JTV at the moment. what does that even mean?? Blacklisted?? People keep saying that but do not bother to go into further detail. How does a venue specifically not have access to battle.net based on it's location...
Large amount of logins from the same IP will ban that IP. That's apparently what happened here.

It has to do with too many accounts connecting from the same ip or set of ips.

Why can't you stream it if you are able to let them play?
Sorry it just blows my mind.

Time to head home from work
Thank you IPL for holding things off, I should be home soon and able to watch the stream.
Thank you Megan for keeping us up to date, and at the same time I'd like to say I'm a little dissapointed that you shattered the illusion that you might've in fact been a female with an interest in SC2.

I am disappoint
MLG always has this problem, you have to make an arrangement with blizzard beforehand and make sure blizz can fix it ASAP!

Any chance you could get someone to keep us vaguely updated on how the games go? I'm sure a lot of people would just like to hear what's happened in them now since we'll almost inevitably know the results before anyone gets around to watching a VOD given all the other content you guys have lined up.
