Ultralisks against marines? Zerg looks like shit. Ultralisks against marauders? Zerg looks like even more shit. Banelings against marines? Trading suicide gas bombs against mineral only units.
The melee units really look terrible against mass marine/marauder with tank support. Having melee units that run slower than ranged units really makes no sense from a game design point of view, UNLESS the melee units deal alot more damage or are extremely beefy. We just saw ultralisks get slaughtered instantly, and they dont actually deal that much damage (against light anyways). So why exactly are Ultralisks so slow? Lings atleast have the speed advantage, it makes sense that they are low hp units, but Ultralisks? Not so much, they get killed damn fast without Dark swarm... Oh wait...
Zergs should just go Broodlord/Infestor and speedling/infestor, instead of wasting time on banelings/ultras.

I don't know how this turtle style really will work on Crossfire, if SuperNova can stabilize he will probably win. But DRG is the kind of guy who lets you do anything.

ya i think a mix of units is best, it gives the opponents headache as to what composition to counter. Or constant switches...
Going extremes like most zergs for prolonged periods, allows opponents to really get good counters too easily.

I cant imagine it working because getting that 3rd is insanely hard so Supernova will probably do a 2 base timing attack.

Vikings are never useless. Im very surprised of how FEW TIMES I see vikings being left over being used for overlord hunting. If you just follow the minimap you will see that most zergs, including pros, have massive overlord clouds in the edges of the map
