Disgusting to see so many haters. His fanboys are far more annoying. His play today was terrible and he had a free ride to code s with TvP. He will get knocked out as soon as he meets a good zerg/terran. Well said sir When was the last time MKP beat any good players consistently? He even gets smacked around in GSTL and has Hongun carry the team with his all-ins. Wow.....unbelievable. Yes, his play today was terrible, he took risk he shouldnt have and paid the price, and decided to play stupidly against Taeja. But guess who played slightly worse? You don't get to code S by losing 13 probes, failing a blink stalker all in etc. Pro-gamers play to win. MKP was behind 0-2, he had to win. Go hate him all you want, but at the end of it all, he's not playing to please YOU. Can you imagine the consequences should be remain in code A? Maybe you should be in his place and not 1-1-1 when money and your livelihood is all on the line.
ok so mkp played better than jyp and tester, right? bwahaha you should know it's impossible to win as protoss

Barracks nerf, warp prism buff, immortal buff, guardian shield buff, blue flame nerf. For protoss there's only a blink nerf that could impact things.

Only thing that matters is that MKP made it.

It's a Blink buff, because it discourages players from doing a terrible 1 base blink that never actually works

that's why blizzard don't balance things, they rely on guys like you thinking the game is balanced cause they can't win protoss CAUSE BLINK IS TOO GOOD THE UNIT DISAPPEAR BRO
you guys forget balance is good cause winning and still don't be recognized cause your race is unbeatable is bad

What is the Guardian Shield buff? Did they change it further than just making it actually work for tank shots, which doesn't really help.

second season running no protosses have surived the up and down Hopefully no more will drop into them next season

MVP, TOP, and Ryung were the only ones as Terran to beat Protoss or Zerg after group play.
MVP and TOP are in the finals. It's not so much your TvT but your TvP and TvZ which determines how far you go.
MVP and TOP are playing really well right now.
After this it's going to be Terran 4, Zerg 4, Protoss 2 in terms of first place finishes. T7 -Z2 -P1 in terms of second place T12-Z2-P6 in terms of third place
As a Terran homeboy, I hate to say it, but P, the most complained about race* is looking pretty weak. Hopefully the patch will address this.
*Maybe not for long.

That's just ridiculous, do we really have to wait until HotS to get this pro level more racially diverse ?
O well maybe D3 will draw me away until the terran domination ends >< I find it annoying that the best players keep choosing terran. I know each race has a few players who dont deserve code S but it seems terran players are just solid lately with a pretty low amount of protoss players who honestly deserve code S. Honestly the only protoss who deserved code S who didnt get it was JYP but fate intervened so that MKP would get 2nd yet again. Many Terrans don't show very solid play as well. The race is just a lot more forgiving.
Let me list for you the terrans who clearly belong in code S without any doubt MMA(winning hardest group should leave no doubts) MVP(probably going to win his 3rd championship nothing to question here) Polt (already a GSL champion and almost made finals yet again with a very unique/antiquated TvT style) Bomber (MLG champion code A champion considered by some as good if not better than MVP) Nada(always makes it out of his group. Despite a weak ZvT has good TvP and easily code S TvT and with macro that is only now starting to be matched by other players)
Note i was very very specific with this list becuase there are several other terrans (such as ryoung with his TvT and Ganzi who just dominated code A) who you could argue belong on that list there as well. I dont consider any of the protoss at the moment on the same level as these names. Zerg i can name Nestea DRG and Losira who belong wihtout a doubt in code S. For protoss I can name Huk and Puzzle. MC is slumping and JYP needs to iron out his TvP to make it onto that list (losing half his army in middle of map for no reason was just a big mistake) to be among can win a GSL at any point crowd. That is a pretty Terran favored list and when you look at the 2nd tier of players you dont see many protoss who would benefit from a buff(you do see zergs but thats not point).

Protoss in Code S need to get together and put all of themselves into one group next season so that only one of them falls to Up/Down

I don't see this changing this particular push (marine/tank/banshee). It might come a couple of seconds later, the warp prism buff is not gonna help defend this push and blue flame is not used in this push either.

Not hating on him but i wish he wouldn't get into code S because his play is relatively bad. There is nothing wrong with hoping he drops so we can get higher quality of games.
i would want to argue back but you're right T_T. MKP's play when I first saw him (and for the following seasons till recently) was the reason i watch SC2. Each time he does something stupid a little of me die inside. I guess I still cheer for him because of emotional attachment but I can't bring myself to hope he drops from code S. I sincerely pray he improves his game before he gets outclassed by everyone around him.

It actually now correctly reduces damage from Siege Tanks and Colossi. Before, it did nothing.
