Huk clearly tilted. He had lost the game at that point The far away third was a risk. MVP scouted it and dealt with it, but there was no way in hell that HuK could ever come back by playing standard. You would need to be MC to do that Huk had an excellent chance at winning right then. MVP was all production structures and upgrades- no viking count. 4 colossii give me chills. Not as bad as six of course but Huk had a real time he could have won. MVP tricked him out so damn hard and won the game.
What chance of winning? Say he did go for the base.
What happens if MVP just goes for his? What is he going to do? Engaging MVP's army and trying to kill it was probably his best chance

This is what people don't understand. He was making mistakes that's for sure, but he must be REALLY tired.
while this is true, i dont think it would have mattered much. huk may have lost less early stalkers, but his strategies were just not going to stop MVPs

Well for TvP it's true. I think the last 2 months or so has proven that on small/mid sized maps terrans doesn't actually need to expand vs protoss. In other words it's not an all-in unless all SCV's are being pulled.

To be honest it was HuK vs Mvp, Mvp is just in a different league compared to HuK, especially in these conditions. HuK's been travelling a lot, Mvp hasn't.

He was not better than NesTea when he got knocked down to code A and in super tournament. I mean all this time he still probably would have beat NesTea head-to-head but at the time he needed to adapt to the new TvT trend in the super tournament & improving his TvP before the world championship (and be less vulnerable/greedy in TvZ at the same period, when he lost against July) he wasn't able to produce results so we can't say he was "better" than NesTea / everyone else this period of time. Best mechanics (more or less) doesn't mean best player.
But now that his TvT seems back in shape, that his TvZ is as godly as before and that TvP (which was protoss favored at the time he got knocked down I think?) is now a bit terran favored and that he improved at it, it will be next to impossible to stop him :D.
I hope that Polt beat TOP and put a good fight against Mvp. If the patch hit with the hellion nerf nobody will be able to stop Polt in TvT except Mvp
