I wonder if MinChul can overcome his on stage nerves and defeat Select, the Korean Terran. I loved his builds vs Kas, very MCesque.

Since when does MC have nerves stages o.O
Maybe back in brood war but even then that is probably his lack of skill that caused him to lose

This makes me wonder exactly how many people read the IEM preview.

I actually think SeleCT is going to take down MC. His TvP is the best I've ever seen. If GLaDe can manage to get through the powerhouse that is MaNa, I'm sure he'll be much happier to be up against SeleCT than MC (considering SeleCT admits that TvZ is his weakest matchup).

You must have never seen bomber or polt play...:/ Did you not see MC 2-0 Select at NASL finals? Not long ago TBH. Just because he beat Huk or something(who is playing terribly)? Also he just lost to Socke. Select is 1-6 vs MC...don't get why you think he'll win.

SeleCT could take a game off MC. But not much else tbh.

yeah MC has been consistently beating Select every time they meet. but if he does that marine all-in thing it could get messy.

MC beat Select pretty easily in NASL, and Select did lose to Socke in the groups. I don't think his TvP is necessarily the best in the world. Definitely top notch though.

To those of you who saw MaNa vs. PuMa (about to watch replays now): Is PuMa playing as amazingly as he did when he beat MC in the NASL? Does it seem like his skill declined at all? I'm genuinely curious since I'm not sure what his practice environment was like after he joined EG.

Not as amazing and it's a little bit of that and the maps I think. If MC played Puma in a bo3 at NASL finals with Taldarim and Terminus as the maps, he would of won it also. Plus MC 2-0ed puma on wednesday so he definitely doesn't seem as scary.

I see. Yeah, I just watched the first game, and he looked less impressive than I remember him.

I kept hearing about how MC 2-0'd PuMa, but I couldn't find it in the results page (http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/IEM_Season_VI_-_Global_Challenge_Cologne#Group_Stage)

Why did MC play against PuMa at all? What part of the tournament was this? It's definitely not the group stage... are there replays/vods of their match?

Puma played very good vs stephano and Sase however MaNa is a PvT specialist so not really that supricing whats supricing it was 2-0 I would have expected it to be 2-1
