I guess we'll have to wait and see how he does against Mana.

It would be tragic if Mana would lose to Moonglade. I hope Mana has improved his PvZ enough to win. If he has, than he is truly one of the top protoss on the planet, korean or non-korean.

This is missing from the calendar currently. And damn what a competitive timeslot.

Mana predicted a 2-0 or at least a 2-1 victory over Puma before their match, so it's not as big of an upset as some make it out to be.

So it's not an upset because a player was confident in himself?

its not an upset beucase MaNa beat Nada quite easy at Assemply and Nada is a code s player while Puma isnt

So it's not an upset because a player was confident in himself? Mana usually just tries to give a realistic estimate of his chances.

He didn't play bad, but it wasn't too good as well. Stephano for instance played much better but had thougher opponents that day.

I actually think he was being reasonable. He saw Puma play beforehand, too. He's not as confident when it comes to MC or the top zergs. Koreans are way better than foreigners as of now, but TL.net tends to overhype every single korean player there is. Koreans are ahead of the curve, but the gap is nowhere close to what we have seen in BW.
|
Why isn't this on the TL Calender up upcoming events?

This new guy MC shows some promising talent. Look for him in the future.
Call it here first.

Yeah, the fact he beat Kas and Beastyqt - two great EU terrans is astounding. He did seem a little shaky vs Killer though, so maybe his v Zerg is bad?
He has the potential to go far in this tournament, but his next opponent is Select.

WAT?

Nerchio vs Puma should be a good fucking match
|
Gogo Kas, win the whole thing! :D
|
I am rooting for them Zergs!
Maybe I can watch a couple games today.
|
From what I have seen Stephano's ZvT was much better than Nerchio's so I definitely favor Puma, but Nerchio does more crazy stuff so he can definitely take it.
I fear for Mana as current PvZ is hard for Protoss, but I want him to go further, because I think he is the only non-Korean who can take PuMa, assuming PuMa did not throw the games they played, but I doubt that.
MC and Socke should win.
|
As long as Mana gets maps where he can forge FE, I think he'll be fine - on the other maps I see him in trouble, since he plays PvZ best when he can go stargate or just straight up mass up stalker/colossi.
Let alone the fact that PvZ is horrible to play on open, smaller maps right now as it is. (Which is why we see HuK, MC, etc. go for stuff like DTs in the first place)

What?
Haven't you heard about MC? He's an excellent up and coming protoss foreigner who's going to Korea after this. I expect he'll do ok in the gsl.

Puma will be Destroy by Nerchio as he did by Stephano in his first game =)
