Because they can beat people like Idra in tournaments and win moneys.
he can.....?
I think he just did
Though don't quote me on the moneys aspect of that statement.
no he didn't this is a clan war and is not winning any money. MLG IPL anything in a tournament format like that he will not do shit. he cheeses every game all match ups.
You listen to what painuser is saying hes saying hes bad without saying it so blunt

Idra ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Err you don't need spine crawlers.
Please tell me you're being sarcastic. the fact he didn't make one in that situation is kinda silly.
You mean build a spine which takes 50 seconds to build, when a 30 second building has started building? Or blindly go spines? Because you definitely don't need spines to defend a proxy 2 rax with 14 pool unless marines get in annoying positions. Or should he get them blind? Thank you captain hindsight!
as soon as the double bunker went up he should have dropped a spine b/c he saw the position the marines were in. he was able to delay building the closer bunker with his queen that would have given him time to get the spine up. it's unfortunate he didn't play supersuper safe

I mean.. can you really blame namchir? Odds of him beating IdrA in a straight up macro game are much lower than when he 2raxes him.
Agreed. When it comes to competition, a win is a win, even if it is dirty/cheesy.
In this case, that mentality doesnt really apply. Richman hasnt won anything and doesnt do well at lans. Its because all he knows is how to cheese.
A superstar who cheeses once in a while is smart (IE. MVP vs Nestea game 2 on beach) but a player who only knows how to cheese will never succeed.
Same for the player who cant defend standard cheese after scouting, even if he thinks hes the best player in the world
I think IdrA will be fine. I dont think you would seriously beat on Richman if they played again? Or even if he played any of the top 20 players at MLG? Youre probably getting a kick out of his win here but its doubtful you will continue to support him because theres a slim chance his style will allow him to succeed.

Scouting a double 9-10 proxy rax is not a blind spine :p
It's 100% all in, if he defends he wins. Idra still chose to play greedy for some reason. How are you defending him? He was floating 700 minerals. He obviously didn't need the drones or the minerals they would reap.
Doesn't make for good viewership when such cheesey play actually gives people wins at a good rate. Maybe everyone is still terrible at this game but its been over a year, and players who are pure cheese are still winning. I thought the bitbybit era was over.

I didn't say he played well. I'm just saying you don't need spines against proxy 2 rax if you 14 pool.

Thats what i thought, I agree its kind of funny what happened, and Im a IdrA fan. I just dont completely understand the point of cheesing every game possible if your goal is to be a progamer, which why I dont think he plans on being a success gamer.
