Mouz already beat them 4-0 so they would stay the 2 seed, fnatic and empire would each gain a point but stay in the same seed position. also look at sixjax last 3-4 clan wars where they can't get a roster there.. forfeit 2v2's , have evoli playing etc... You think demuslim/idra/puma and our 2v2 drop 2-3 games vs them? Lets not make this more than it is. To be honest i would worry about idra being there - so possible 1 game for them 2v2,,,, well they could have taken that too... So 3-2 would have been possible ;P Now if Huk would have played... Nobody on the reduced sixjax roster would beat idra in a bo3 sorry... and our 2v2 would win as well. Did you even watch the last 2-3 sixjax cw's? Look at the lineup dude.. You very probably would have won 4-0, but from a tournament standpoint it doesn't really make any sense to leave the already played results on the board when a team forfeits the last matches. It's just very unfair to the teams who had to play out their matches, no matter that in this case it doesn't influence the final result of the league. I mean, isn't it obviously true? The answer is there is no fair answer.. there is only a league ruling. SJ had forfeit rounds, had playerss offrace and had a manager play his a match before that. Who is to say they didn't "give up" before they officially disbanded? Free wins are just as bad yeah? But then it gets into this big debate about how to do it. Leagues in the past have done it this way and imo (not that mine matters in this case, it doesn't) I feel this is fair too. You can't go in reverse and discount what has happened but it isn't like any team helped SJ disband.. so why be punished for it either? In any case it sucks all around sure, but luckily the draw isn't effected at all. I don't really get your argument. How is it unfair for any team if all sj games gonne be stated 4-0. Every league in any sport that i know does it this way. Luckily it has no real affect but i just find it hard to understand why to do other. Anyway, love the league even if i am only able to watch it via vod's because of my euro time zone What makes the real difference for me in this league is the good atmosphere that is delivered by djwheat/idra/painuser/incontrol. Really enjoyable and overall awesomness
Actually this isn't true, at all.
The best example I can think of would be a sport like tennis. Let's say a player in a major tennis tournament wins their first 3 matches, but then pulls a muscle and has to withdraw from the tournament. That would be considered forfeiting and whoever they were set to play in that round would get a free win and go forward, and whoever they played previously wouldn't be granted wins and get put back into the event.
I've also played in tons of adult sport leagues where teams have dropped out halfway through, or not had enough players for a week. You are given a win, and they don't go back and change previous results. Sometimes it is done that way, but it isn't an absolute that it is how it is handled.
So there are plenty examples out there that would support this decision just like there can be examples of choosing another path. As it was mentioned this isn't a black and white type deal. They make a judgement, it affected nothing, move on.

Just do NOT compare a round robin and an elimination bracket please, you just can't, in this case. In a round robin nobody has been eliminated when someone forfeits while it's going on, in an elimination tourney, they are already out.
My decision as an admin would be to plain remove that team from the pool and nullify all matches (making it 4-0 is the same), but you gotta respect this leagues' decision and can't really say which one is "the best". If they take bad decisions they will eventually suffer cause of them, so in any case, it's their call ultimately.

I had almost forgotten about this, a month between matches is a bit much. Still I have to say I'm excited about the prospects of a EG vs Mousports final, could be some epic games.
Also I completely agree with above poster for what it's worth.
