I understand their annoyance, really.
Well there is so much unprofessional stuff going on behind the scenes which basically allows for no serious competition whatsoever. I know 4 of those teams and two of those went into the tournament treating it as a sports weekend because of how ridiculous the conditions were. It's absolutely unbelievable.
Why didnt Hydra go to the qualifiers with Kalimist? Couldnt they find a mage or what? They couldve just went rogue lock priest and still owned playing with Inflame.
Kalimist completely disappeared and is only secretly smurfing with friends.
To the guy above me: Yes I am. <3
That sucks, Kalimist was such a pro rogue, noone could ever compete with him in the later days. Also doesnt Hydra talk with him at all anymore they seemed like really good friends. PS: Loved your blogs
And what happened to Flyn as well I never really understood what happened

Flyn started playing on arena-tournament private realm with Marmeladx then they started a 3v3 with Khuna and became #1 on Stormscale. I think Flyn got kicked from Dignitas because he never wanted to practise he only wanted to play private realm
For those that wants to see PvP which makes sense unlike the shit that was previous streamed this actually contains fighting that makes sense.: check out this video: It's a video made by DrakeDog.
Some tips what to look for: DrakeDog uses various spells throughout the video, these are Soulfire, immolate, Soulburn, Searing pain and incinerate.
Soulfire is a slow casting firespel with a cooldown in a shape of a large fireball, hard to miss since it has a 3 second casting time. high probablity of critical hits.
Immolate is a fairly fast casting spell that applies a damage over time debuff on the opponent, you can easily spot it under the opponents healthbar as a burning hand.
Soulburn Instant shadow cast spell, does average damage, good if you have a low HP opponent and want to finish him off fast.
Searing Pain, fast casting but low damage attack fire spell, looks like a wave fire coming from DrakeDog. also has a decent chance of getting critical hits on the opponent.
incinerate is a instant cast fire spell that can only be applied to targets that already are affected by the damage over time spell immolate. has a high chance of critical damage.
He also has a pet, a succubus. it does damage and can control one opponent by freezing them in place for 5-10 seconds, has a cooldown.
for anyone interested into a deeper look into what real arena is, commentated by the best priest in the world, wow is kinda of a deep game, just blizzard didnt refine it enough
Interesting games today, liked Ret's 2 macro hatches and Tarson's persistence. Upset about White-Ra really, it's time for him to win something worth mentioning.
On WoW:
Well, watching the streams of last decent WoW competitions (S7 maybe), Flyn didn't seem to get on with Hydra and Kali. And after that there were his frapsed duels with Healingproof (offtop: Healingproof had a later movie going by the nickname of Bestmageeu <JK WORLD>, I rofled irl), which was quite humiliating from a side view. WoW progaming had to involve lots of practice as well due to lots of setups and playstyles and special tectics, so the idea that Flyn couldn't adhere to it seems reasonable.
Sad news about Kali, but WoW is nearly dead as a progaming discipline. Regret the time wasted on it.
Cool to have Yiska here, I read your posts at hydramist

Hydra is originally a EU female dwarf priest right (ingame char that is)?
If it is, I raided (pve) with him and athene back in the black temple days. If I remember correctly, we booted hydra and declined athene after a trial for not raiding (and hanging out in BG's during raids), demand to be able to lootwhore because of his 'pvp skillz' and not giving a shit in general.

What have you been doing since? You taken up SC? still blog for Hydramist?
How did that WoM + Hydramist merge go? I lost intrest in the arena scene around then.
Also Quakecon deserves more viewers than this
Mostly playing LoL and watching Sc2. I stopped blogging later down the road. We were the WoW part of SixJax but eventually we kinda have to give in that this thing is not going to work with IEM pulling out etc.
@ thirnaz: <3 Much love sir.
Flyn is an Sc2 custom map addict. He played 200 games of this desert 1xxx map
flyn was away from long periods of times so he ended up being kicked from dignitas, regarding kalimist i have no idea what happened, him and hydra appeared to be like best friends, someone can clarify? yiska?
Nobody will ever be "kicked" from Dignitas as an organisation or that's at least my impression of their amazing organisation. Hydra and Kalimist were good friends, I don't really know why they aren't playing anymore.

Guess he got quite far after that.
So, basically, "Shut up pvp guy."
Was like that back then I guess. It sounded more negatively then I intended it to, didn't exactly mean it like that.
I mean, I wish I could make a living of wow arena's ;p. Just was surprised it appears to be the same guy, we had quite a few pvp-ers, and most of them seemed more dedicated is what I ment (actually making the 'sacrifice' to pve for pvp gear). There was obviously always a tention there between the pure pve crowd (most people) and the pure pvp-ers, because you generally have the pve-ers running the guild from my experience.
