Stay positive, be happy and enjoy the event. Caster bashing and player bashing? Too much whining? Uh-oh!

GSL system works since you lose on purpose in the winner vs winner, you have to play another match which you might end up loosing. Should really just use this system instead in Bo3s on each match so every match matters

Guys, the more important thing is that Grubby is out , I fucking hate that ;p He played so well vs LaLush, and the games vs Kas were decent, apart from the last one ;> And then he goes on to lose 2 pvp's.

Gratz to Welmu though, huge win!
It appears I have been chosen.

Nothing.

Just look at Nada's play vs Idra in the group match, some weird-ass Thor rush done just to avoid playing a team mate (Jinro) in the next round.

There have been a few other cases as well, can't quite recall them exactly though.

No. He his in interview on millenium tv, and just said "I maid a micro mistake vs bratok, i didn't quit fast enough, i'm must practice more in freeloosing"

You'd think the French would be good at surrendering.

Because they have the right to ? It's rather funny no one can give it's opinion anymore about something that should not really happen to a pro gamer, honestly if you go to a tourney to get 2/3th place because you are scared to face tough aponents. What are you doing there ?
I understand them not wanting to play Sen, he's a beast but you should not be able to have the option to choice in a Tournament, something they both think they have. That's not how it works.
You see the lineup and then it can happen you meet a good player in an early round.

Not saying they should get a DQ, but what they tried to do is not correct either, entertaining games or not.

You answered it yourself. They are there to get 2nd or 3rd place. So they avoid tougher opponents in early brackets hoping someone else knocks them out.

They are in it to win it, and to win it means a bit of luck and understanding the bracket system. Honestly.

Hongun vs Nada as well.... I think? Hongun did some Mothership rush? Maybe it was Trickster.

Nothing is more sacred than the competition. I really do hope they get dqed for throwing games. Its not like they were trying to make the other look bad by playing goofy. They were just trying to lose. Imagine if at the finals and they decided to split the prize money between themselves and proceeded to attempt to lose a box series. This is just as bad.

I cannot believe how many people want them to be DQ-ed.

they were put in awkward situation because of tourney structure, always 1 of them could purposely lose without anyone making notice, now at least we know that both of them didnt want to win

Yeah, they took a situation where both of them were trying to throw it and made it interesting for the fans. It wasn't like they were making intentional mico mistakes or anything, they just chose ludicrous strategies and executed them pretty well. There's no way either of them deserves a DQ.

Also, the notion that only BratOK would get DQed is nuts. If you're punishing them for throwing games "well he did it first" is not a valid excuse. That's exactly why our lives are so much less Luxurious now.

This happens all the time. Just because they made it obvious should be a wake up call to the format of the tournament to prevent this from happening again.

There's no reason to plan the bracket before pool play is over. You pick them like Dreamhack did and stuff like this won't happen. Assembly deserved what they got.. Who the hell would want to face Sen over Sarens

You can't blame the players, blame the tournament. You can't expect player to play their best when they know they'll get an easier opponent if they lose.

srsly, do you watch pro sports? If sc2 wants to become one it needs to learn to let players make the best choices for themselves
