Stay positive, be happy and enjoy the event. Caster bashing and player bashing? Too much whining? Uh-oh! |

It's just all about these shitty rules. Exactly. It's so easy for a player to throw a game subtly. The rules are the problem. Even if you re-game, how can you judge whether a player is throwing a game? Bratok mis-controls drops, loses a couple of full medivacs. Throwing a game, or bad play? Stephano mis-micros banelings, loses them to tanks then loses the game. Throwing a game, or bad play?
Even if you DQ one or both of them, unless the rules change, the next time this happens, it'll be the same thing, only the players will be more subtle. The rules are the problem, not the players.

It was mentioned on the TL twitter stream.

they shouldnt have played the game if neither player wanted to win, they should have just flipped a coin or sth..

They need to do random drawings, so shit like this doesn't happen. Do it like Dreamhack did, it's not very hard.

im saying if u had to play anyone, u'd much rather play them in their worst matchup, that's all.

This happens in every form of competition.

Because they have the right to ? It's rather funny no one can give it's opinion anymore about something that should not really happen to a pro gamer, honestly if you go to a tourney to get 2/3th place because you are scared to face tough aponents. What are you doing there ? I understand them not wanting to play Sen, he's a beast but you should not be able to have the option to choice in a Tournament, something they both think they have. That's not how it works. You see the lineup and then it can happen you meet a good player in an early round.
Not saying they should get a DQ, but what they tried to do is not correct either, entertaining games or not.

In soccer they would be the "injured" players jumping off the stretcher as soon as they're off the field. At least this isn't that annoying and is actually entertaining. They'll play the rest of their games seriously, I'm sure in soccer they would be denmark and sweden agreeing to draw 2-2 for a huge "sup italy?" or germany scoring vs austria in 1982 then both doing nothing for 80 minutes for a huge "sup algeria?" I strongly doubt that Denmark let Sweden have their 2-2 goal in the end of the game, they probably would've loved seeing us get knocked out. Nope its true, thats why they play all last games together rather waiting and seeing results beforehand.

Should just either not release the details of the play-off scheme before groups are finished, or better, make a drawing for the playoff match-ups.
