Stay positive, be happy and enjoy the event. Caster bashing and player bashing? Too much whining? Uh-oh!

What the fuck? Why do you people complain? The next time they will make it less obvious with the same outcome nevertheless. It's just all about these shitty rules.

There is an easy solution,

let both of them play again. Winner plays Sarens.

would be pretty bad for sarens just because his win against sen wouldnt weight much anymore

Just came back, what happened between Stephano and Bratok?

1st game nuke rush
2nd game 6 pool
3rd game proxy terran-natural hatch versus BC rush.

They played games which wasent real ones(1 base BC rushing, expanding to your opponents natural etc) To not get first seeded in group to play sen

Guys this is no big deal and other things like this happen in sports all the time. In soccer they would be the "injured" players jumping off the stretcher as soon as they're off the field. At least this isn't that annoying and is actually entertaining. They'll play the rest of their games seriously, I'm sure

in soccer they would be denmark and sweden agreeing to draw 2-2 for a huge "sup italy?"
or germany scoring vs austria in 1982 then both doing nothing for 80 minutes for a huge "sup algeria?"

I strongly doubt that Denmark let Sweden have their 2-2 goal in the end of the game, they probably would've loved seeing us get knocked out.

Yeah. anyone who saw that game would know non of the teams wanted the 2-2 result lol.

I'm actually curious as to how this hasn't happened before. What does the GSL do to prevent this sort of player dodging from taking place?

It's obviously unfortunate, but they're playing to win the tournament moreso than the next game.

It's a fairly common occurring in most major sports near the end of the season (or at least resting your players and accepting a loss) and we regularly see it at WCG amongst the BW Pros.

They both already qualified, so they goofed around and kinda tried to lose the game since the winner has to face Sen in next round. By doing so, they clearly ruined ESPORTS forever

the thing is, terran is actually sen's worst matchup (W-L record), dunno why bratok would run from that, he has the same % against T and Z. and then sarens' vT is his best matchup %

Nestea's worst matchup is vs T too, but sure no one would want to take on Nestea

There reaction was very childish and unsporting but the organization is to blame here: if they have rules about it both should be qualified and if not, apologize and make this never will happen again in the future.

And to add. Most likely all this because, the winner plays Sen next round.

This feels no different then match fixing .
i know its hard to compare this but one thing it has it has shared and that is that it destroys e-sports.
i did never expect any "progamer" to do something like that at any tournament just disguisting to see what low players i have to face in ladder.

http://wire.ggl.com/e-sports/world-cyber-games-2007-international-disgrace-at-the-grand-finals/

Stork threw his games 3 times so he wouldn't get first in his group and go on to meet another korean in RO8.

When I first heard the story, I think it was on something like sotg where incontrol talked about stork losing on purpose to get into the 7th tiebreaker, and it was hilarious.

How about Colts resting Payton Manning after they went 15-0 and losing, did they throw the game? or just play to win in the long run?

You'd think the French would be good at surrendering.
