Stay positive, be happy and enjoy the event. Caster bashing and player bashing? Too much whining? Uh-oh!

I think Bratok should have realised that the continued support of a few forum posters on teamliquid, posting in a language he hardly understands, and whose support was limited to posting "GO XX" in a LR thread, comes before his chances of winning a massive pricepool.

i know its hard to compare this but one thing it has it has shared and that is that it destroys e-sports.
i did never expect any "progamer" to do something like that at any tournament just disguisting to see what low players i have to face in ladder.

I guess it DESTROYED ESPORTS every recent WCG.

From the Assembly rulebook:
2.7. Complaints If a player wants to make a complaint about a game result, the player has to tell the administrator assigned to the match, before the next match starts. If a player wants to object a game result ruled by an administrator, this has to take place before the next game.

2.10. Punishments Should a player purposely attempt to sabotage the games, another player or an administrator in any way, the player will be disqualified. Bad behaviour towards other players, administrators or the audience may result in a disqualification.

Ouch.

I don't think 2.10 covers this particular case.

You realize that they have 8k on the line? It is by far the best choice for them to throw the game, we may have been ripped of a great game between Europe's best, but this makes sense if u use such terrible tourney format. (BTW, Rainbow threw a game on purpose in GSL group stage i think in season 3, so he would go from 2nd place and noone said shit)
So.. this Earth, nice planet you might say- WRONG!!

That game reminded me so much of the south park episode where none of the kids want to play baseball so they practise at getting really bad

i will laugh if they DQ both stephano and bratok

If they're going to DQ they should probably only do BratOK I think. IIRC Stephano started the series serious, but when you see your opponent nuke rushing into expand you're going to have fun as well xD.

I agree. Either BratOK only or both.

the thing is, terran is actually sen's worst matchup (W-L record), dunno why bratok would run from that, he has the same % against T and Z. and then sarens' vT is his best matchup %

Because reality =/= % wins from TLPD

Example of this is me having 65+% wins vs protoss from TLPD and my actual win loss is 40%

BratoOK's best MU is TvT by far.

What's so entertaining about two pro-players throwing away a series on purpose? There's a huge step between "playing to win", and manipulating your way into a "better" branch of the brackets.

And even if i love Stephano, i would be perfectly fine with disqualifying both if the players.

Man, Sjow is going boss mode so far in this tournament... 2-0 against TLO, Happy and Adelscott is no mean feat. Will be interesting to see him against a more top tier player (no offense meant to those 3, but they are second tier in this competition).

It's entirely the tournament organizers fault. You can't set up a bracket so it will be favourable for a player to lose their game. How do you possibly play a legitimate game when you know that winning will likely result in a lower placement? That's ridiculous. If anyone should be disqualified, it should be the organizer.
