I just got to check results and was really surprised that the finals were so close! Congratulations to PuMa!!!!!!!!

As for everyone arguing about HuK, come on man the kid took how long to finally get into code S? He just started banging out wins, if he continues on this streak for awhile then we'll start talkin!
THERES NO WAY HE CAN STOP THOSE HYDRAS!

Huk moved up to code s after one season in code a... and look at the players he Has lost to in gsl. They usually win the whole tournament.

And losing in gsl can't be counted against huk since this is about who is the best foreigner and no foreigner has been out performing huk in gsl.

Weird how NASL has regular season of you get to prepare for your opponent for a week. Then a Lan where you get no prep. PUMA did the best and he didn't have the prep mindset from regular season.

i also want to repeat that they should not have open brackets for season 2 playoffs. puma won the season two qualifiers. Never seen the world cup introduce a new qualifier into the playoff after group stage.

its impossible to say who is the best. there is not one best player but a group of players that are the best

No, you can be the best and still lose to other people. Being the best != being unbeatable.

What a dumb argument. Thebest is the best.

Yes, but being the best is not the same as winning every single match. If you have a 90-3 record in matches and the next guy has a 79-14 record (same opponents), you're obviously the best even though you lost three times. If the guy with a 90-3 record proceeded to lose a match to a random guy, that would not automatically make the random guy the best player.

No, (T)PuMa's win is not a strike against the NASL format but a serious proof that it works. One undefeated player survives the open bracket, only to face at best 1:15 odd of grabbing the win. Whoever make that win has more than proven that he is fucking good, for he had ran a gauntlet even greater than (P)NaNiwa in the MLG Dallas. I am calling it now - Puma will win a 2011 GSL.

I am not good with words, but this guy is http://esfiworld.com/sc2/circuit/north-american-starleague

Thank God and gunrun.

puma might someday, but being still in code B, he'd have to have a cinderella run to make it this year

Crazy thing is that he lost in the first or second game in the code A qualifiers. Just shows how hard it is to qualify. I hope he and DRG make it through next time as both are skilled enough to make a lot of noise in Code S.

Who did he lose to?
i was driving down the road this november eve and spotted a hitchhiker walking down the street. i pulled over and saw that it was only a tree. i uprooted it and put it in my trunk. do trees like marshmallow peeps? cause that's all i have and will have.

PuMa is SOOOO good. So mannered. Spends 50,000 dollars on skin cream.

Gotta say, my "high" of ESPORTS was increased during this event. I was part of the Press pool for the event, and and such had backstage access to the player area during it. It just struck me when I wanted to congratulate TSLPuMa on his win, I went over to oGsMC to get the translation. Holy Check!! Gettin one eCelebrity to translate for another ... who practically daily practices 12 hours of Starcraft 2 and delivers so many good games. And when my friend from TeamLiquid wanted to talk to a TSL guy (forget which one, there were 3 at the event), he had Dignitas Select translate!! Such a good event from what I saw (Present Day 2 & 3, heard Day 1 was a little shaky) and got pictures with everyone -- Tastosis, Anna, Blonde Interviewer Chick, MC, InControl, Day[9] and others.

Way to go NASL. You really gave us such GOOD GAMES this time around, can't wait for Season 2!

saying huk is best foreign player is unrealistic. their cant be a best player BUT there can be a group of players that are the best.
its like trying to argue puma is the best Korean because he beat MC...just cant do that.
puma and mc are just in the group of the best Koreans

Poor poor MC, he could have owned puma in a macro game on crev anytime even with the bad pos he had, i think he is just to confident in his semi all ins... still he managed to come back only to kill 10 zealots into a bunker and then loss ;(

yup hero was on fire when you are on fire you can take anyone out, and on bad days even gsl winners can fall down to code A *cough Mvp cough*
that's why nasl format is good because even if u have a bad day you still have 9 weeks to prove yourself, that's why only the best got into the nasl finals, and the best of the best got the money.

he most likely all in'ed because he was getting tired you can see he was tired after the game when he walk out the box. its really hard playing a guy that attacks so many points at once you get worn out.
