I don't think I would call that crushing in fights past being behind in food since one big fight where he lost and didn't really collapse farther past that. Zealots are expendable, and very strong.

Did you actually watch the games? MC lost the fights like 3 times but he had such good macro that he was keeping up in supply anyway. Go watch the Vods if you aren't sure, I was talking about it to a few friends. Once you have enough EMP's to take out the Archons then it gets super hard for Protoss because it takes soo long to get the Archon count back up.


I was watching it was "crushing" only as far as he might've won the battles if MC hadn't of easily thrown down 6 zealots to reinforce (AKA every TvP I've ever seen where a terran player might've won and then never came close to beating the toss). EMP is the answer yes, but if you can't reach the archons behind the wall of zealots in front of you it's over.

How do you get archons? HT can feedback thors, and storm both hellions and thors. Blink stalkers can be massed as well, and immortals can be added over time.


True. But then, that would get really gas intensive, and at critical mass wouldn't that comp be able to deny expansions fairly cheaply? If you're only spending gas on Thors, tech, and ghosts, you could just play the attrition game, couldn't you?

Archons destroy marines. If you emp sentries/archon, you can almost kite the zeal forever, but when ht comes into play it's harder (more ghosts :D)

True, but maybe what I'm theorycrafting is more like Marine/Maruader/Ghost/Medivac while being on the heavy Marine side, as opposed to the current heavy Marauder style. But yeah, those Archons will still be a problem unless they're taken down mega quick.
