Dreamhack has years of experience and GSL is korean (YES ITS BOUND TO SUCCEED BASED ON RACE). Compare NASL with MLG's first try. Seriously its not even close, i still remember the 2 hour breaks between EVERY game or how we had to watch replays of a live event. MLG's 2nd try was just as bad with us watching freaking eagles over SC2 matches and some moose tripping over the cables every half hour. ye at least we're able to watch the games...cough MLG Dallas. I understand the 1 hour break and it wouldn't be bad if it wasn't for the retardedly long and unnecessary player intros. That's really the only big issue I've had with this so far. It seems like an idea that sounded awesome when thinking it up but when actually implemented its just painful to watch.

The upside of single elimination is that a weaker player COULD have knocked out a better player and if you did that 2 rounds in a row thats $5000, vs. Double Elimination where you'd have to win much more. There are 2 sides to everything. Also, Strelok knew the deal when he signed up... his own fault if he couldn't have afforded to make it work. But I never heard that the money part was the problem for him though, I think you just made that up. Money greases all wheels, from my experience with visa issues. But no, I don't think that was the issue, since obviously normal people from Ukraine are able to get a timely visa. Not to mention, White-Ra and Dimaga can't both be that much more baller-er than Strelok when it comes to paying for travel arrangements.

HuK considers HuK Korean, I do to. He refers to himself as having "Korean training" in the sense that he plays like a Korean player now. So essentially his online playstyle and persona is of a Korean, even though he may not be. Select is the opposite. His online playstyle and persona is that of a North American, even though he may not be. Why don't people get it rofl.

The NASL organizers pulled congressional connections to try and pressure the embassy to speed things up, but the most they could do was literally a day too late.

It seems like the foreigners are still using builds from months ago, and their overall style is so predictable and passive that the Korean players can do basically whatever they want and win, e.g., Moon's 150 banelings. "This has been a tournament that tells you how much SC2 evolved. The foreigners are really just living Fossils" Yeah, its harsh but kinda true. I mean I haven't seen a Protoss going Colossi in the GSL in a while and that style is still pretty popular here. God, I just don't know what to say...
